次の日本語を自分なりに英語にしました。どこがわるいか、こうしたらもっと良くなる、などアドバイスしていただけると幸いです。よろしくお願いいたします。 １．もうすぐ独立記念日ですね。 Independence Day will come soon. Independence Day is a couple of days away. ２．毎年なにか特別なことをするのですか？ Do you do any special things every year? Is there the special custom in America?

Gです。 ayakakayaさん、こんにちは！ 私なりに書いてみますね. １．もうすぐ独立記念日ですね。 Independence Day will come soon. Independence Day is a couple of days away. どちらも使えますね. 始めん文は、willをisに変えたほうが、実際に今来るよ、と言うフィーリングが伝わり、日本語の「もうすぐ」がよりよく出すことが出来ます. 次の方ですが、is only a coupleとonlyを入れることによって、あとホンの二日（位）だね、と言うフィーリングを入れることが出来ます. ２．毎年なにか特別なことをするのですか？ Do you do any special things every year? Is there the special custom in America? any special thingsでもかまいませんが、anything specialと二文字にしてしまいます. こちらの方は少しすっきりした感じになります. 2番目のほうも通じますが、customをeventとし、また、in Americaをin USとするのがいいと思います. そして、eventsと複数にしたいので、Are there any spcial events for this day in US? なり、Do you have any special events for this day in US? と言う言い方が出来ますね. ここの定連さんにはシカゴに住んでいる方がいますが、シカゴでは、いまChicagofestといって、この日のためにダウンタウンがあるミシガン湖沿いの公園で大規模な催し物が07/06まで行われています. そのイベントの中の、Taste of Chicagoといって、シカゴの70ものレストランが競って模擬店を出すのが恒例となり、他の大都市でも、Taste of xxxxとして、イベントが行われています. 黒人のBBQは私の大好物です. （ドラム缶を二つに割って作った自家製グリルで、彼らの特別なBBQソースで焼き上げた物です!!） 下にURLを付けておきましたので、見てください. 他にも、Chicagofestを検索するとたくさん出てきます. これでいいでしょうか。 分からない点がありましたら、補足質問してください。

たぶん １．もうすぐ独立記念日ですね。 Independence Day is coming soon, isn't it? ２．毎年なにか特別なことをするのですか？ Do you do anything special every year? がこの日本語に順当だと思います。１は口語ですからもうちょっと自然なニュアンスを英語にも出すとよいでしょう。２のanything specialはフレーズですからよく使います。
