recoverについて
The stock market has failed to recover with the that many hoped for. この一節についてなのですがrecover wtihのところがわかりません。recover withなんてコロケーションはどの辞書にも載ってなかったのですがどう考えればいいのでしょうか？お願いします。

withのあとに何か脱落していますね。 例えば The stock market has failed to recover with the speed that many hoped for. なら，英文として成り立つはずです。 意味は 「多くの人が望むほどの速さで株式市場は回復しなかった。」 ということになります。 下敷きにしている英文は The stock market failed to recover with great speed. と Many people hoped for that speed. ということでしょう。

お返事ありがとうございました！どうも。すみません誤字がありました。抜けているのはvigorでした。なので、性格にはThe stock market has failed to recover with the vigor that many hoped for. になりますね。すみません。それでrecoverは自動詞なんですか？あまりこのかたちは見たことがないんですけれども・・・。
recover with ではなく、 with は failed を修飾しています。 with 以下はその状況でもということです （ここではwith～ は 「～の状況下にもかかわらず」とでも訳すと良さそうですね。 では、私はもう寝ます。。。
