「オバマ大統領は、本人曰く、今年は特に経済において成果を挙げたことを、政府の動向に普段興味を払わない層に向けて宣伝したいという意図を持っています。」 単体の文の翻訳ですとどうしても逐語訳の不自然な文にならざるを得ない部分がありますが、なるべく実際に目にする日本語に近くしてみました。例えば日本語では大統領を呼び捨てにしない、Washingtonはワシントンという場合もあるが（米国）政府と訳すことが多い、などです。

映画のとあるシーンです。 普通の人とは違う特殊なものが見える人が、オカルトショップを経営しています。 その店に、変わった男が訪ねてきました。 その時のことを、経営者が思い出しながら話している、という状況です。 He came to my shop. He said he sees it too. He said I can help him stop what's coming... ... that what I saw is salvation. A salvation that some people wants to stop. He said I can help him and I should see what he sees to understand. What I saw was those he killed a long time ago and those he will kill in the future. He just looked at me, sad, and said that he knows my decision before I even say it. He gave me this mashine. He said to use it if the vision changes back.

強調構文の考え方です。It is～thatと言う文章でこれらを省略しても文章が成り立っているのなら強調構文である。と書いてありました。 It is a fact that he wants to know.→a fact he wants to know→He wants to know a fact.となり、たとえば、It is a fact that he has won the game.は同じようにやるとa factの役割が不明になり、前とは違って成り立たない。よってこれは強調構文ではない。ここまでは理解できます。 しかしこの考え方が次の文章では分かりません。この文章ではどうやって上のような考え方を当てはめればいいのでしょうか。 It is not the fact virtue wins out at the end which promotes morality ,but that the hero is the most attractive to the child,who identifies with the hero in all his struggles. よろしくお願いします。

辞書にIt's hard to believe that he would have done such a thing.という例文が載っており、訳は『彼がそんなことをするなんて信じられない』となっていました。 would have doneを使っている理由はなんでしょうか？ 単純に he did such a thingとか普通の完了型のhe's(has) done such a thingでは駄目なのでしょうか？
