箇所だけを指摘するというのなら，many baggage という組み合わせはよくありません。 many の後は複数形 many pens, many students 実際には可算名詞の複数形 much の後は単数形 much water, much money 実際には不可算名詞で単数形 baggage が可算であれ，不可算であれ，many 単数というのはおかしい。 実際には baggage は不可算なので， much laggage とするか， many pieces of laggage とする，となります。 この可算，不可算というのは日本人にとっては理解しにくいもので，money が不可算といってもピンとこないのです。 water が不可算なのは，それが H2O という化学式で表わされる一つの均質な物質でできていることがすべてで，個数という問題ではない。 これを物質名詞といいます。 money も「金」gold に置き換えればわかりやすくなりますが，「お金」と呼ばれる一つの物質であり，個数という問題でない。 個数を言いたい時は，coin, bill のような語で表わすか，dollar のような単位を言う。 furniture も物質名詞のように不可算で用います。 「家具」と呼ばれる物質で，個数ではない。 baggage も同じ。 この２つに関しては一つの集合名詞ともいえます。 輪郭がばくぜんとした一つの集まりであり，細かく一つ一つは表わさない。 一つ一つを表す場合は a piece of funiture two pieces of baggage many pieces of baggage とする。

文法の問題としては many を much に換えます。 When they travel on business, people do not usually carry much heavy baggage. (でも実際には many のままでも使われることはあります)
