「you'd like to」について教えてください
You'd like to see some samples, and then you want to meet a salesperson. 上記の文の訳と"you'd like to"の使い方を教えてください。

（もし～だったら）あなたは見本をいくつか見たいと思うでしょうし、その場合セールスマンに会いたいでしょう。 前半は仮定法の帰結節で、後半は決めつけです。英語的にもかなり強引な文章のように思いますが広告でしょうか。

you'd like to の使い方って これ↑省略だってことはわかりますよね？ You would like to ～になるんですけど would like to ～は want to の丁寧ばんなんですよ だから訳はU want to see some samplesとして訳せばいいと思いますよ and thenは「そしてその時」 a salepersonは「販売員」です わかりましたかね？

A: If you want to come back some other time, I'd be glad to answer all of your questions. B: I'd like that very much! という文なのですが、 B の I'd like that は、I would like to ～の表現と違うのでしょうか？ I'd like to do that となっていれば納得出来るのですが、 どうもこの文の構造が分からず困っています。 どなたか教えて下さい！

一年程前に２ケ月程付き合いをしていてその後私が日本に帰国。離れて一年近くなりますがメールで連絡を取り合っていました。私が帰国後すぐにアメリカにもどるつもりでしたがビザの関係で戻れなくなり彼が日本に来てくれることになっていたのですが、私が待ち切れず彼にメールを送りました。Are you serious to come to Japan or other country?I feel you don't like me, don't you even care, if you don't see me. if you really want to see me again,you should be coming see me soon.right? and also you never say around when. but I took it real about you said and i look forward to see you.すると返事が。。。I would love to see u in Japan or other country but the timing has to be right. My company got very busy suddenly so I have to take advantage of the business to survive. i really can`t tell u exactly when. I do like u and want to spend time with u but it`s not my fault. Sorry to inconvenience u. U never trouble me and thank u for building the courage to tell me your feelings. 「～したい」というときには、"I want to do"と言いますが、polite expression では、"I'd like to do"だということを以前教わって理解していたつもりなのですが、ふと「過去形では何と言うのかな？」という疑問が湧いてきました。 「～したかった」というときの"I want to do"の過去形は、"I wanted to do"だとわかるのですが、"I'd like to do"の過去形はどうやって表せばいいのですか？ "I'd like to do"は"I would like to do"だから、"I would have liked to do"になるのでしょうか？

お世話になります。 また質問させてください。 (1) I'd like a smart person like you to teach me English. (2) I'd like a smart person like yourself to teach me English. （１）をアメリカのメル友にチェックしたもらったところ （２）のように、you は yourself がいいとのこと。 理由がわかりません。 アドバイスお願いします。

私は英語の初心者です。 I was wondering if you might like to take her・・・の訳についてお教えください。 私の勉強している英会話のテキストに載っている「I was wondering if you might like to take her・・・」という文章のなかで、you might like to の意味がわかりません。 テキストでは「もしよかったら、あなたに彼女を連れて行ってもらえないかしら・・・」という訳になっています。 本当に初歩的な質問で申し訳ございませんが、お教えいただけましたら助かります。 よろしくお願いいたします。

いつもお世話になります。 今更の質問ですが初対面の相手には名前等をなのり Nice to meet you. You, too. などが一般的だと思います。 何処かで習った覚えも有るのですが最近"You, too."を忘れていました。（笑） 例文を見ると多少、言葉が付加されるとMe, tooになったり少し混乱しています。 (1)ところでこの"You, too"が概念的に理解できません。 覚えるしかないのでしょうか？ また、忘れそうで…理解しやすい解釈は無いでしょうか？ (2)主語がIt以外となった場合 I am glad to meet you. の場合、受け答えはこれもYou, too なのでしょうか？この場合Me, tooの方がいいと思うのですが… (3)初対面の最初の挨拶では(2)の場合はI amですが 初対面、最初の挨拶は (It is) nice to meet you. と言う現在系の感覚ですよね？ It wasはどういう時でしょうか？別れ際ですよね！ その場合はmeet/seeどちらが適切でしょうか？ 仕事など会えなくとも、電話ではお世話になるかも知れない。 とか相手によって使い分けがあるのでしょうか？ (4)その他、nice以外もyou, tooでしょうか？ It is a pleasure to meet you.など (5)例文にあったのですが前置きや後に若干の文があった場合、 Nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you. Me, too. I wanted to meet you so much. この場合の受け答えで You, too. I wanted to meet you so much. はおかしいですか？ (6)二度目にあう挨拶、 Nice to see you. も当然、 You tooですよね！ (7)その他挨拶、主に"Nice to meet/see you"他のセンテンスに関する一般的な注意があたら教えてください。 例えばビジネス的な会話に適切な挨拶とかYou tooではなくフルにセンテンスを言った方が失礼にあたらないのでしょうか？ 土日にお礼等をする事になると思います。 ご教授の程、宜しくお願いします。

こんにちは。 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix [UK, adult版] p.606 上の方の文に関してです。 Susan Bones, whose uncle, aunt and cousins had all died at the hands of one of the ten, said miserably during Herbology that she now had a good idea what it felt like to be Harry. この文の" she now had a good idea what it felt like to be Harry."の部分です。 日本語訳では、"ハリーの気持ちがいまやっとわかった"となっています。 「what it feels like to be」で「～の気持ちがわかる」となると思うのですが、どうしてそういう意味になるのかわかりません、文法的にどういう風に解釈すればよいのでしょうか？ 教えてください。 また、"what do you feel ...."と"How do you fell ..."はどう違うのでしょうか？ どのように使い分ければよいのでしょうか？ 少し、こんがらがっております。 教えてください。よろしくお願いします。

A blonde woman goes into an electronic store. She goes to an elrctronic store to buy a TV. She looks around and she calls over the salesperson. She says to the salesperson, "Excuse me, I'd like to buy this TV." But the salesperson says, "I am sorry, but we do not sell to blondes, blonde women." and she is angry and she leaves the store. And the next time she comes back. She is wearing a black wig on her head. and she calls over the salesperson and she says to the sales person, "Excuse me, but I would like to buy this TV." and the salesperson says, "I'm sorry ma'am, but we do not sell to blondes." and she is angry again and she leaves the store for the third time. Finally, she comes back, this time she is wearing a red wig, dark sunglasses, a totally different dress and she says to the salesperson, "Excuse me, I want to buy this TV." and the salesperson says, "I am sorry,but we don't sell to blondes." and she says, "well, how do you know I am a blonde?" and he says, "well ma'am, you are not looking at a TV, you are looking at a microwave." 「ブロンドの方には売れません。」「どうして私がブロンドだと知っているの？」「あなたが見ているのはTVではありません。電子レンジです。」だと思うのですが、BlondeとMicrowaveのひっかかり7意味が分らないのです。これってジョークなんでしょうか？
