his なら his good wife となるはずです。 この him は「彼にとって」という意味に当てはまり， 一種の SVOC の構造なのですが，O ＝ C とはならず， S ＝ C という関係が成り立ちます。 確かにこういう形があり，辞書にも載っていますが，専門家になるつもりでもなければ気にするようなものではありません。 辞書に出ていることについて，某氏が痛烈に批判していましたが，未だに出ているようです。 普通には用いる表現ではないと思います。

(2)They ( those sketches / be / believed / genuine Picassos / to ). それぞれ私が考えた答えなんですが、 (1)It will do good to take him a walk every morning. (2)They believed those sketches to be genuine Picassos. これであっているのでしょうか？ しかも、(1)についてはdo good がしっくりこなくて訳が分かりません。 (2)も to be genuine Picassosが”本物のピカソのスケッチになった” なんて訳がつくのでしょうか？ 分かる方、解説付きで答えていただけますか？

It matters little to him what his wife wears. というひどい旦那の文なのですが little とto him とwhat his wife wears は順番を好きな様に変えても大丈夫ですよね？ それとも真Ｓのwhat his wife wearsはどこになるか決まっていますか？ もし順番がどれでもいいなら、その順番によってどうニュアンスが変わってくるのでしょうか？ ぜひ教えてください ちなみにもし自分に妻ができたらちゃんと服装褒めまくります
