英語を母国語としない人が書いたと思われる契約書の意味が理解できず困っています。 AとBは契約当事者です。 A will defend and will ask for the substitution of B for the passive pole of eventual legal actions and/or administrative processes which have as a foundation, but are not limited to (i) violation or direct or indirect infraction of any copyright or (ii) infraction of any patents, making themselves for payment of all costs, losses and damage and resulting solicitors costs. 理解できないのは、will ask for the substitution of B for the passive poleの部分です。passive poleという英語を見たことがないのですが、どういう意味なのでしょうか？よろしくお願いします。

契約書ということは、いろいろと経済的な権利義務が絡まることでしょうから、法律事務所に相談されたらいかがですか。 それでなければ、理解できない事柄は相手に質問して徹底的に理解しあうことが必要でしょう。相手に尋ねることは、 恥でも何でもありません。相互の完全な理解こそが契約にとって最も肝要なことです。ここで実質的な法的行動または 行政手続きの「陰極」等といわれても、いわゆるネイティブの人でも理解しきれないでしょう。教えて!gooの回答はある意味で 全く責任がありません。そんなところに依存すべきではないでしょう。

お世話になります。 英訳で、「少なくともいずれか一つを選ぶ」という表現が出てきました。either, any one of等の使い方にいつも迷うので、教えてください。 上記の場合 (1)choose at least either one of A and B （２つから選ぶ場合） (2)choose at least any one of A, B and C（３つ以上から選ぶ場合） (1)は、eitherをつけましたが、助長表現でしょうか？（なくても良い？）また、文法書にはeither A or Bとorを用いた表現が例文として出ていますが、andをよく見かけるのでandを使っています。andでもorでも問題ないのでしょうか？
