ぬいぐるみ に相当する英語を教えて下さい
「かわいいぬいぐるみ見つけた！」 「私、ぬいぐるみ大好き」 といった場合の「ぬいぐるみ」は英語で何と言ったらよいのでしょうか。 「ぬいぐるみ」は動物でも人間でもいいのですが、ふわふわした感じの、やわらかい、いわゆる「ぬいぐるみ」です。 「ぬいぐるみ」を辞書で引くとstuffed toy と出てきますが説明的で会話では使いにくい気がしてしまいます。又、幼い子供が使うかしら・・・とも思います。 "I found a lovely stuffed toy!" "I love stuffed toys."なんて言うのでしょうか？ 今まで聞いた中では、実物を前にして、bunny, piggy, teddy bear, lamb など 動物を特定した言い方しか知りません。 もし人間の形のぬいぐるみなら何ていったらいいのか？？？とも思います。 ばくぜんと「ぬいぐるみ」一般は何と言うのでしょうか？？？ 特に困ってはいないのですが、ずっと疑問でした。どうか教えて下さい。

ぬいぐるみは動物が多いので 私の周辺の外国人は、stuffed animal を よく使います。 人間のぬいぐるみというのは、どういうものか分かりませんが それって、いわゆる doll ですよね？ (^^) （"詰め物"をしてあることを強調するならstuffed でしょうが）

こんばんは、いつもお世話になっております。 よく”ありえないー！！”と友達同士で会話をしますが そんな時英語ではどんな感じの英語が使われてるのでしょうか？ 例えば、ある人に ”I miss you”って言われて 相手が私の事などmissなんて思ってないのは分かりきってるので ”それは ありえない！！” と言いたかったり。。 inpossibleかな・・と思ったりしたのですが ちょっと違うような気もして。。 ご存知の方教えて下さい。 宜しくお願い致します<m(__)m>

和英辞書を引いてみますと、色々な英語が出て来ます。 perverse or cussed person; contrarian とか。 それらの英語を逆引きすると、「つむじ曲がりの」とか「意固地な」とかの日本語になって、本来の日本語の意味の「あまのじゃく」に相当しません。 皆がこう言ったらいつも反対あるいは、別のことを言いたがる人。あるいは、何かが評判になったりして、多数の人がそこに殺到する時、その風潮に絶対に乗ろうとしない人。 私が捉えている「あまのじゃく」ですが、こんな性格の人は英米圏には殆んどいないから、それに相当する英語がないと言うことでしょうか？ もし、近い英語があれば教えて下さい。 宜しくお願いします。

この間、説明しようとして言いよどんでしまったのですが、入試や検定試験などの「問題集」あるいは「過去問」というのはどう表現すればいいものでしょうか。 和英辞典を引くと、questionsとか出てきますが、これだと個別の問題にはなっても問題集というニュアンスが伝わらないように思われるのですが……。

使いますかー！ありがとうございます☆ 人間のぬいぐるみ・・・（＾＾；） えっと、あかちゃんが使ってそうな単純な形の（手足はあります）布製のふわふわしたのが家にいます。中身は綿だと思います・・・。 家のは小さいですが、20～30ｃｍくらいの大きいのも売ってました。。。 わかりにくくてすみません。 dollというと、ビスクドールとか、バービーとか、雛人形とか すべすべ（？）してて固そうなイメージがありました（＾＾； 人の形であれば何であれ基本的にdollでOK、 動物のぬいぐるみはstuffed animalといった感じでしょうか？
