一つめ 本当に「ほぼ」であって（ほぼ以下かも）同じではありませんが， had been repairing でいいでしょう。 「ある過去のときまで，屋根を11時間修理し続けていた」 ここでは，修理が終了した夜の８時ということです。そのことが書かれていないので，同じ意味とは言えません。 (1) had been burning でいいでしょう。 「そこに着いたとき，森はそれまで５日間燃え続けていた」 (2) an hour ago「１時間前」という具体的な過去の１点を表す語があるので，過去のことが現在に及んでいるという現在完了は使えません。 started という過去形になります。 (3) next May という未来には，15年間レッスンを受け続けていることになるだろう，という未来完了であっています。 しかし，will have been taking となります。 will の後は原形になりますので，have にする必要があります。

こんにちは [1] My father is proud of my brother's having been educated in United States of America. このような（単）文を、that節 などを用いた複文に書き換えよという問題です。 私は my brother's having been educated in United States of America. この部分は受動態の完了形だとみて [2] My father is proud that my brother has been educated in the United States of America. 若しくは ( has を had とも意味が取れそうだから） [3] My father is proud that my brother had been educated in the United States of America. と思いました。 別な人の意見によると [4] My father is proud that my brother was educated in the United States of America. でも、これは、that節以下は単に受動態だけになっていて完了形がないのでは？と思いました。 適切な回答と解説をお願いします。

私はどうもこの手の問題に弱いようで、 (1)My father was ill in bed for two months when the doctor was sent for. だと解答はMy father had been ill in bed for two months when the doctor was sent for. のみだけど、設問には一部だけを直せとは書いていないので、二か所直して、 My father has been ill in bed for two months since the doctor was sent for. もあるやん！と思って、答えられなくなります。まずはこれ合ってますか？ 合ってたら、ふつうは一部直すだけがルールですか？ やっぱ慣れなんでしょうか、、、、困った。そんなとこまで経験している時間が正直ない気がしてます、、、、。

現在完了の形はhave＋過去分詞だと思うのですが、 I have lived here for ten years. 私は１０年間ここに住んでいます。 というのはわかるのですが、 We have been married for 15years. 私たちは結婚して１５年になります。 という文ですが、 この場合beenはなくてもいいのではないでしょうか？ My father has been dead for thirty yesrs. この場合もbeenは必要ですか？

すみません。remainやcontinueなのですが，どのような時に完了を使うかがわかりません。 The aftertaste remains for some time. は has remainedではいけないでしょうか。また He remained in office for fifteen years. はhad remainedではおかしいでしょうか。 回答よろしくお願いします。
