今まで、concert ticket しか使ったことが無いのでちょと知り合いに聞いてみました。 これでは、解決にならないでしょうが、ご参考です。 多くに意見が、なぜfor,of,toを使うのか、concert ticket で十分だというものでした。 一人だけ、ofは、他とニュアンスが違って、自分は既にそのコンサートに行った事があることを言外に示していると言っていました。

Goodbye. そこで質問です。英語では疑問文を作る場合、動詞がbe動詞や助動詞の場合は主語と倒置し、それ以外は頭にdoをつけますが、Cathyのセリフで“You know I sent my CV to them six months ago?”のところは、 ピリオドをクエスチョンマークに変えただけですが、 こういう疑問文はよく用いられるんでしょうか？ それから、携帯電話のことは cell-phoneも全く同じように使えるんでしょうか？ また、personal directorは前の会話では human resourses managerという用語が使われていましたが、directorとmanagerは何が違うんでしょうか？

I had a little that foreign beer called “cognac”. そこで質問です。付加疑問文は「～ですね。」という意味で使われると思いますが、Cathyの“ You didin't go to the Red Lion, did you?”のセリフは主節が否定形なのに明らかに、Simonが飲みに行ったことを半ば確信していて、その上で確認するような言い方ですよね。こういう言い方って普通なのでしょうか？ また、Simonの“I'm afraid I did.”の “afraid”は Simonが買い物を頼まれたのに仲間と飲みに行って してこなかったことの気まずさを表していると思うんですが、これはどう訳したらいいでしょうか？

代名詞の使い方で質問です。 I'm too busy to get the tickets.Who is going to do [ ]? 上の英文の[ ]に入る単語を以下の選択肢から選ぶ問題です。 1.it 2.them 3.so far 4.one 正解は1番でした。 私の考えでは、get=doとなっており、ここにはthe ticketsの代名詞、つまりthemが入るとなっておりました。 しかし解説ではit=to get the ticketsの部分を指している代名詞となっており、１番が正解でした。 でもそれですと、doとto getで動詞が意味のない反復をしており不適切に思えます。 私の考えで間違っている部分を教えていただけませんでしょうか？

Don't neglect the indefinite article "a" before "concert". So it is necessary to use a preposition. The phrase "Because I've got two tickets to a concert." is translated in French "Parce que j'ai deux billets pour un concert." In this tranlation,not "a" but "pour" is used.
