for(with) the purpose of
We have been training Japanese teacher () the purpose of offering our methods of teaching to Western nationals. (a) with (b)at (c)of (d)for という問題で、答えが(a) with なのですが、なぜ (d)for ではいけないんでしょうか？ for the purpose of と、with the purpose ofの違いが良くわかりません。 どなたか教えて下さい。

for the purpose of ほうが普通に使われると思います。ただ日本語でも『～の目的のために』のほか『～の目的を持って』with the purpose of とも言いますからそれに対応するwith the purpose ofも特別変には聞こえません。 この問題は文法の正誤を尋ねているのではく慣用句についての質問ですが、私も貴方と同じく答えは(d)とします。どうしても気になるのであれば出題者、出版社なりにメールで貴方の意見を出されていいかがですか。良心的なところであれば返事が期待できます。

鍵はもうお気づきのように、（d)なら、冠詞が要らない、ので（a）になります、意味の違いではなく慣用の違いです。
補足
ご回答ありがとうございます。ただ、for the purpose of という冠詞をつける使い方も辞書には載っています。辞書にはfor(with) the purrpose という風にのっていますので、どちらでもいいように思えるのですが、この質問の回答はwith になっているので、なぜなのかと不思議に思いました。

下記の文章を和訳したいです。 A has already established itself with customers such as B, C and D and having a current offering of products that are among the best on the market for attaining many of their requiremets. 前半部は「AはすでにB,C,Dといった顧客に認めらた地位にあり・・・」というような訳でよいと思うのですが “having a current・・・”以降が上手く訳せません。 私が訳すと以下のようになりました。 「顧客の要件の多くを実現するために市場において最良である製品を現在、供給している」 しかし、どうもしっくりと来ないし、そもそもhaving以降の文章の構成がよくわかりません。 この文を翻訳して、解説をしていただけるとありがたいです。 よろしくお願いします。
