この問題はどのような状況なのでしょうか？
お世話になります 次のような問題がありました。 Ａ：（ ） に入る適切な文を、a,b,c,dの中から一つ選ぶ問題です。 Ａ：Would you like me to make a reservations just in case ? B : Yes please . There will be four of us. A: ( ) a. My pleasure. b. In case of trouble, Please contact me. c. I’m looking forward to it. d. I’ll take care of everything right away. このほかの情報はありません。 どれが正解だと思われますか？ また、これはどのような場面だと思うかを教えて頂けるとありがたいです。 これは、ホテル、またはレストランなどの予約なのか、またjust in case ?（念のために）とはどのような状況だと想像されますか？ 私は、b、か、d、が正解かなと思いますがいかがでしょうか。

→まず、この問題は文法的に間違っています。reservationにaをつけ、しかも複数形にしているのが間違っています。 a.My pleasure. 頼まれているわけでもないのに、何がmy pleasureになるのか不明。よって答ではない。 b. In case of trouble, Please contact me. これは、AがWould you like me, . . .で、私に～してほしいのですか？ ～いたしましょうか？と、Aさんは志願して、親切に、どうでしょうか？こちらでいたしましょうか？と言っているのに、もうつきはなして、もし、こまったことがあったら、私に連絡してくださいーーでは、会話が不自然です。やはり、それなら4人分予約いたしましょうとか、承知しました、それでは必要事項をこの紙に書き入れてくださいーーとか、そういうつながりでないと。ということで、In case . . . は、Would you で聞いた文があるのに、とても不自然です。 c.I’m looking forward to it. itというのは、予約することでしょうか？予約を代行しようというひとが、それを心待ちにしているでは、とても妙な会話となります。 dだけが、では、おまかせください。必要すべて（の手続き）をすぐにいたしますーーで、ぴったりの表現となります。ｄしか答がありません。 これはどのような場面だと思うかを教えて頂けるとありがたいです。 →何かはっきりわかりませんが、4人で予約をとることができるもの、しかも、それは念のための予約であること。この条件を満たすものとしては、 大雪のときに、山小屋へいけないので、別の安い宿をとっておく。 飛行機が欠航した場合に備えて、鉄道で特急列車の指定席の予約をいれる。 雨の場合、公園で遊ぶこともできないので、公園近くのボーリング場の予約を入れておく。雨のときはボーリングができるようにする。 たとえば、以上のような場合に使えます。 以上、ご参考になればと思います。

ｄ｝しかないでしょう。 right away は「問題が起きたら直ちに」という意味なんでしょうけど、ちょっと不自然ですね。

A は４人という人数も知らないようですし，４人という人数を考えても その中に入っているとも思えないので，秘書みたいな立場でしょうか。 レストランの予約で，特に直接行っても大丈夫だと思われるけど just in case「万一に備えて」 予約しておきましょうか？ お願いします。４人になりそうです。 A は同行しないでしょうから， b「困ったことがあったら連絡して」と言って 連絡もらってもそこでどうしようもないので d「すぐ万事手配します」 でしょうね。 電話するくらいでいいかな，とも思いますが， レストランを見つけることから始めると everything ということもあると思います。

質問者さんの言われるとおり、恐らく答えは、b、か、d、だと思います。 口語的な感覚なら、人によってはせっかちな感じでどんどん話す人もいますから b もありそうですが、自然な展開としては d じゃないでしょうか。 すぐに手配しておくから、というような会話の流れ、ではないかと私的には思います。 あとjust in caseという言い方ですが、日本語で使うのと全く同じ感覚で捉えて良いものと私は考えているので、４人という言葉があるので、やっぱり４人席のブッキングみたいな感じではないでしょうか。

状況としては、レストランなどに予約無しでも多分入れると思うけど、念のために予約しておこうか？ ということでしょう。 回答は難しいですね。b c は無いな。dも大げさなので、aでしょうか。
