英語が得意な方教えてください！！（恋愛相談）

すみません、英語が得意な方にジャッジしていただきたいのですが。。 私は今、台湾人の友達に会いに行った旅行でその友達の友達である 台湾人男性を好きになってしまいました。 台湾旅行中、お土産以外ほとんどお支払いをしてもらい 盛大なもてなしをしていただいた上にお土産までもそれぞれからもらい。。 日本人として恐縮しまくりだったので帰国してお礼の品を送りました。 　 お礼の品と共にそれぞれに手紙を書いたのですが、彼には、感謝の言葉と共に “I like you very much...miss you!”と書いてしまいました。個人的にはlikeはどうともとれる 逃げだし、miss youも社交辞令にもとれると思って書きましたが、友達に見せたところ 感謝しまくり後のそれは告白以外には感じられない。。と言われました。。 （付き合ってくださいとかは書いてないです。I hope that I see you againとかもし日本に来るときは案内するから教えてとかは書きました。） その後彼から以下のような返信が届きました。 Hi ○○ good morning !!!! How are you today? Oh My God!! You really surprised me!!! What are you thinking? !! Too many gifts for me !!!! I feel so warm and touching thank you so much!!! I love every thing you prepared!! I can feel that you really put a lot of thoughts into these presents:) ○○ daisuki!! Hahha just kidding but thank you!! You really are a sweet sweet girl. I hope you visit Taiwan again:)I will show u around more places! And of I visit Japan I will come and see you so u need to come see a movie with me!! Cuz that's my gift!! Haha.. Anyway. 在米、アメリカ人と同棲中です。 まず普通に英語ができる相手にI like you.とかI miss you.とか言ったところで、それを告白だと解釈されるはずがありません。そんな言葉は友人同士で普通に使いますし、彼もカナダにいたのであれば英語圏での告白（気持ちの表現）がもっと違う言葉であることは知っているはずです。 それを告白と判断するのはいかにも日本人的な発想ですよ。 彼からの返信内容ですが、別に落ち込むような内容ではないと思います。少なくともあなたにいい印象を持っているのは分かりますし、daisukiとかaitaiのあとにhahahaと付けていかにもジョークっぽくして照れ隠しをしてるあたり、彼もやはりネイティブではなくてアジア人だなぁと私は感じました・・・笑　微笑ましいです。 まだ知り合って間もないようですし、お互いのこともよく知らない状態でしょうから、相手からのメールにいちいち一喜一憂せず、ゆっくり関係を築いていけばいいのでは？焦りは禁物です！

コメントありがとうございます！ 微笑ましい内容なのですね！！泣きそう。。 英語がご堪能なhappy2008とchi4pitbulさまがほぼ同意見でいらっしゃるのに驚きました！お二人のお陰でプラスに考えていけそうです！ ＞少なくともあなたにいい印象を持っているのは分かりますし この事実だけでも、嬉しい限りです！！ ＞まだ知り合って間もないようですし、お互いのこともよく知らない状態でしょうから、相手からのメールにいちいち一喜一憂せず、ゆっくり関係を築いていけばいいのでは？焦りは禁物です！ おっしゃる通りで、彼とは二泊三日中の二日間を過ごしただけです。しかも、ある程度親密になれたのは二人だけで行動した最終日です。　 私の気持ちが舞い上がりすぎて、一回一回のメールに一喜一憂しすぎて心身ともに疲れておりました（笑） happy2008さまがおっしゃる通り焦らず、ゆっくり関係を築いていきたいと思います。 素敵なアドバイスありがとうございました！！

アメリカ人の親父と結婚して２０年を過ぎたオバサンです。 彼のこのお手紙を読んで思わず微笑んでしまいました♪ ＞彼は、カナダに長く住んでいいたのでかなり英語が流暢です。 との事ですが、表現がとってもアジア人らしい内気な雰囲気がありますねぇ。そこがとてもチャーミングなお手紙です。ラブレターっていうより、その以前の「初めの一歩」って感じで好感が持てる彼の文章ですね。 まずは親しいお友達として友情を育てていくと良いと思います。彼は親友になれる可能性大。その後、愛情に発展していく可能性も有り、かな。でも、それはお二人次第。 急がず、まずは友人として楽しく交際しましょう。 少しでもお役に立てたら幸いです。

在米で英語は聞くことは聞け話したいことは話せる程度です。 １。質問者さんは、彼を愛している。 ２。質問者さんがなさったことはお友達（即ち日本式）の印象では告白だった。 ３。それに対する台湾の友人の手紙は「ここの一文で、私の気持ちが伝わっていてやんわり振られている印象を受けます。。」と解釈なさった。 　　　質問者さんがお受けになった歓待は、台湾の良い家庭では取り立てて変わったものではありません。と同時に同レベルの歓待を日本でなさっても別に珍しいと受け取られない可能性はあります。 　　　このご解釈は正しいと思います。

    英語が得意な方へ！ 和訳お願いします。 Needless to say I have been very very busy. Not so much with my work (well not more than or times).. but with house hold chores. Cooking, cleaning, dishes, laundry ... living all by yourself is a lot of work ... I sympathize with all the women out there :) But help is on the way ...
