各々元の文に変換してみます。 (1)The more /industry becomes developed, the more/ it creates problem.→×。 industry becomes developed more.→△ 注１ it creates problem more.→Ｘ 注２ 注1.moreには副詞用法があるのですが、一般に副詞、形容詞的過去分詞を直接修飾します。 例 I read the book more carefully.副詞を修飾 You have to sleep more.動詞を修飾 注2.日本文が”多くの問題”とありますから複数 problems とすべきで、かつ 後ろから修飾せず直接修飾すべきです。 (2)The more developed/industry becomes, the more problems/it creats. →〇。 industry becomes more developed →○ it creats more problems.→○

使い方のこつがイマイチ掴めていない為、練習させてください。ちょっと難しいので間違っていると思いますが、添削よろしくお願いします。 １、車はながく乗れば乗るほど愛着が沸く。 The longer you drive(have) a car, the more you love it. ２、怠ければ怠けるほど、どんどんあとがつらくなる。 The lazier you are, the harder you'll be. ３、文法は勉強すればするほど、しゃべりにくくなる。 The harder you study grammar, the harder you speak. ４、長く付き合えば付き合うほど、新鮮さが無くなってくる。 The longer you see her, the less the freshness. ５、おいしければおいしいほど良い。 The more tasty this food is, the better. ごめんなさい。自分で問題作っておきながら完敗です。 すみませんが添削のほうよろしくお願いします。

英語の文法の、The 比較級 ～～, the 比較級 ～～. の形の文の質問です。 現在、 1. The more money "that" the city allows into circulation, the greater the risk of inflation. という文において、ここに"that"を入れても構わない（もしくは、入れる必要がある）理由がわからず悩んでいます。 現在勉強に使っている文献によるとこのthatが入っていることは文法上問題ないとのことなのですが、その理由が今一つわかりません。 例えば 2. The more money you put in, the more return you get. 3. The more you eat, the more you get fat. という文は合っていますが、 4. The more money that you put in, the more return you get. 5. The more that you eat, the more you get fat. という、"that"を入れた文は合っている、ということなのでしょうか？ 1, 4, 5のいずれの場合においても、thatを入れるのは不自然な感じがしてしまいます。これはどのように考えればいいのでしょうか…？

先日、解いていた英作文の問題に、「今日ほど世界平和の必要が痛切に感じられることはいまだかつてなかった」を訳す問題があったのですが、解答は、 The importance of world peace has never been as keenly felt as it is today. となっていました。ここで、質問なのですが、as～asの比較級の中に動詞の一部(felt)を入れてよいのでしょうか？入れてもいいならばそれはなぜでしょうか？また、 The importance of world peace has never been felt as keenly as it is today. という英文では減点されるのでしょうか？ 以上の質問に答えていただけると非常に助かります。お願い致します。

はじめまして。英文法で質問させていただきます。 Although intonation is seldom taught in some language courses , it is [ ] important for communicating accurately. 以上の英文の[ ]に入る単語を次の中から選べと言う問題です。 1.all the more 2.none the less 3.none the worse 4.much more 私はこの文章を 「イントネーションはいくつかの言語課程ではほとんど教えられていないが、正確なコミュニケーションをするためにより重要である」と捉え、4を入れました。 しかし正答は2だそうです。（和訳はついていませんでした） しかし2の[none the less]を入れると、全体の訳が 「イントネーションはいくつかの言語課程ではほとんど教えられていないが、正確なコミュニケーションをするならば全く重要ではない」 となると考えており、Althoughの逆説に違和感を感じます。 『イントネーションは教えられていない→なぜなら→正確なコミュニケーションさえあれば十分だから』 という順接ならば納得できるのですが・・・ どなたか、なぜ4ではダメで2でないといけないのか、ご説明いただけますでしょうか？ よろしくお願いします。

The more you chew it, the more tasty it becomes. 焦るほど状況は悪くなると思うよ I think the more you rush, the worse the thing becomes. その凝固剤を加えるほど早く固まるってわけでもないんだ It's not necessarily that the more you add the coagulant to it, the quicker it sets.

次の文を原級をを用いて書き換えなさい。と言う中学の問題です。 John has more books than Dick. 自分は Dick has books as many as John. としたのですが、 模範解答では Dick dosen't have as many books as John. となっていました。 分からないことのひとつは not as ～ as・・・ ＝ 「・・・程～ない」 を使うと意味が ディックはジョン程多くの本は持っていない。と言う違う意味になるのでは、と思うのです。 自分が、どこか根本的なところで間違っているのでしょうか。教えてください。理由も書いていただけると助かります。

Possible Solution Try connecting to this server later. と言うメッセージが出るのです。去年の１２月くらいからだと思います。他のはちゃんと検索できます。 プロバイダはＣＡＴＶです。去年１１月くらいにＩＥ６にバージョンアップしました。そのへんで何か問題あるのでしょうか？

Possible Solution Try connecting to this server later. ------- 実は教習所の予約システムなんですが、エラーがでてしまいます。 ２３日も２４日もそうでした なぜでしょうか? その時はたんに死んでいるだけだとおもいましたが、いくらなんでもおかしいです。 ちなみにページがなかなかひらきませんでした。 他のページはスムーズに開きます ちなみに トヨコムという会社が管理しているらしいです。
