英会話の講師による指摘だと思いますので、以下の理由だと考えます。 be made ofやbe made fromは「～でできている」という既に状態となった事柄について述べるものです。そうすると、既に「誰が～した」という動作は意識されません。 もっとはっきりした例では、The door was closed.があります。...by the store clerk one hour ago.などと後続すると、「閉じられた」（受動態）となりますが、そうでなければ「閉まっていた」（closedは形容詞）と解釈されます。 ということから類推すると、gklkjooさんの先生は、行為者＝動作主の存在が窺える受動態を要求していたのでしょう。 make を使うのであれば、 I was made fun of in front of the class.（クラスの前で馬鹿にされてしまった。） =Someone (My teacherでもなんでもいいです）mede fun of me in front of the class. のように、「誰かによって～された」という行為がはっきり出る受動態が求められたのだと思われます。 Passive voice is properly used in my answer.とでも解答して笑いをとってもいいですね。

現在、基本契約書の和訳をやっておりますが、どうしてもうまくいきません。 以下、to which it is 、becomes subject 以降は、前述の any contract～の説明（どんな契約、義務etcか）でしょうか。どこにかかるのか、わからなくなってしまいました。また、is threatened against の主語は、actionでしょうか。 アドバイス頂けたら助かります。 Performance of this Agreement will not violate the terms of any contract, obiligation, law, regulation,ordinance to which it is or becomes subject;(ii)no claim, lien or action exists or is threatened agaist Seller that would interfere with Buyer's use or sale of the Products.

In my mind I kept tem separate because I could function much better having a clear cut idea about what I consider the difference in operating on the basis. The reason it was such a debatable subject is because the overwhelming majority of the people who were organizing and who were officials of unions in the South had been at Highlander. So the public who only saw that did not know what went on at Highlander.
