このasの用法がわかりません！
Dairy products are also generally quite far from the entrance,as is rice. この最後のほうにあるasの用法がわかりません。 乳製品はまた一般的に入り口からとても遠くにある。米もまた同様である。という文章でしょうか？

It was raining, and we wacthed from the window of Alexei's room as they were driven away. We have no idea what will happen to them and are sick with worry. この文章の中でas they were driven awayと使われているのですが、その用法がよくわかりません。当初、下記の英文のようにas全体が名詞（節）として（watchの目的語）機能しているように思いました。The way I stared at him with a kitchen knife in my hand frightened him.しかし、このthe wayはhowには置き換え可能ですがasには置き換えできなかったかと思い返し、やはりこのas以下は名詞節ではないと判断しました。 次に、下記の英文のようにasは副詞として機能しているのかと思いました。Do as I told you.しかし、副詞と解釈してもas以下は完全な文ですし上手く訳出できません。また形容詞として機能しているとしてもかかる名詞が見当たりません。 結局、私の貧相な知識ではどのように解釈したらよいかわからなくなりました。 このasについてご教授をお願いいたしたく、お手数かけますが、宜しくお願いいたします。

- パソコンはWindows10、接続は無線LAN、電話回線はひかり。
- ブラザー製品のDCP-J973Nで「インクを検出できません」というエラーが発生し、純正インクを使用しているにもかかわらず解消されません。カセットの出し入れやマニュアル通りの操作を試しましたが、効果がありませんでした。本体内部や電極・センサー部分の清掃も行いましたが、状況は改善されませんでした。昨日まで問題なく使用していたため、突然のトラブルに困惑しています。パソコンのOSはWindows10で、無線LAN経由で接続しています。電話回線はひかり回線です。
