such as の前のコンマは「非限定用法」の時には入れます。つまりsuch as London... の場合はカンマを入れます。 （非限定用法）The refugees were unable to carry their household goods, such as clothes, bedding, and furniture. （限定用法）The refugees were unable to carry things such as clothes, bedding, and furniture.

英語で論文を書いているのですが、コンマと(ダブル)クォーテーションの使い方がよく分かりません。 例えば、クォーテーションとピリオドならば、 ..."the sun." となると思うのですが、コンマも同様に ...with "the sun," ... ...such as "rain," "mist," "fog," and "snow," ... などのようになるのでしょうか。 wikipediaの英語版では、コンマをアメリカンイングリッシュではクォーテーションの中に、ブリティッシュでは外に、と記述がありました。 統一するならば、どちらを使ってもいいものなのでしょうか。 お願いします。

as～asの文は～の部分に入るのは形容詞か副詞と思うのですが、形容詞とともにであれば名詞もいいんですか？ He has as many books as she. また、最上級ではよく見かけるのですが He is the most famous singer in Japan . 、比較級でも後に名詞が来る場合はありますか？ 例えば、 He is a more fsmous singer than she . He has more money than I . よろしくお願いします。

BBCからの英文なのですが、 "Many Hondurans say there's a total lack of information as to what exactly has happened to their country and their President. " のなかの"as to what"の使い方がよくわかりません。 "as to"は必要なのでしょうか？それともなくてもいいのでしょうか？ どなたか、文法ご存知の方にアドバイス頂ければたすかります。
