この英文の日本語訳がどうしてこうなるのでしょうか・・・

とある辞書によると、a leader of vision が「先見の明ある指導者」となっていました。これを踏まえて訳せば、You must be a woman of vision yourself. は、「きっと、あなた自身も先見の明ある女性であるに違いない」とでも訳せそうです。 ちなみに冒頭のDream big and work hard. That's my style. は、「夢は大きく持て。仕事は懸命にやれ。これが私の生き方です」くらいの意味。このポリシーから察するに、この人は将来を見据えた生活のできる、賢い人物であるようです。それに賛成してくれたということで、You think so? You must be a woman of vision yourself. 「そう思う？ということはあなたも（私と同様に）先見の明のある人なのでしょうね。」というセリフが出てきたわけです。 ご指摘の訳についてですが、この翻訳者がなぜ「君は理想がわかるんだね」などとしたのか、俺にも良く分かりません。これが誤訳にあたるかどうかはさておき、ちょっと訳しすぎな感じはしますね。

ご回答ありがとうございます。 「a woman of vision」で「先見の明ある女性」という意味なのですね。「of」が「with」だったら何となく分るんですが、「of」を使うのは何故なのか・・・。難しいですね。 とにかく決まり文句として覚えておこうと思います。
