「( )の中から最も適した語句を選びなさい」という問題です。 My I use your pen ? (No,you need not./ No,you can not./ No,you must not.) ここで自分は 「No,you can not.」としたのですが。 模範解答では「No,you must not.」となっていました。 何故 can ではダメで must なら良いのかが今ひとつ分かりません。 説明してもらえると助かります。お願いします。
