Wild Cherryの「Play that funky music」の歌詞中のthe oneについて

Wild cherryの曲「Play that funky music」中で To not see I was the one behind という歌詞があり、その中のthe oneの「the」を敢えて「ジ」と発音しているのは何か理由があるのでしょうか？ よろしくお願いします！

学校で習ったこととは違うのですが。。。 アメリカ人など、ネイティブに聞くと、母音の前、子音の前に関わらず、強勢をおく場合に“ジ”と発音するようです。 日本では母音の前って言いますよね？ ．．．tonight's the hours, the one behind この部分ではないですか？ はっきりと、“ジ・ワン”って言ってましたね。 懐かしい曲を、久しぶりに聞かせていただきました。＾＾
