ubuntuプリインストール済みPCへのwindows上書きについて
先日、DELL Inspiron Mini 9を購入しましたが、プリインストールされているubuntu OSに慣れることができず、windows XP(home edition)を上書きでインストールしようとしています。 ところが、外付けDVDドライブ(I-O DATA:DVRP-U8XLE2)からインストールを開始すると、しばらく”set up is loading files”の画面で進んだ後、毎回同じところで同じエラー画面がでます(下記参照)。 SDDのフォーマットの問題かと思い、ubuntuの入ったパーティションを削除してからインストールを試みてもみたのですが、同じ状態です。 原因として考えられることは何かありませんでしょうか？ 同じようなことをされて成功した方はおられませんでしょうか。 ※Linuxに関する知識がほぼ皆無です。手順を追ってご教示いただければ幸いです。 【エラーメッセージ】 A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. - 新規インストール中に「STOP 0x0000007B」エラーが出ます。
OSのインストールされてないNECのS70タイプSDという製品を購入しました。XP Proをインストールしようとしたのですが、途中でエラーが表示されインストールが続行できません。 全文は次のとおりです。 A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
