計算問題

What is the result of subtracting the following 2's complement numbers? (a)00111111 - 11101101 = (b)11111001 - 00111101 = という問題があり、(a)の答えを 11010010 (b)の答えを 00111100 としました。これはあっているのでしょうか？問題の意味もいまいちわかりません。指摘をお願いします。
