OutlookExpressがRuntimeErrorで受信トレイが開けない
- OutlookExpress（日本語版6.00.2900.2180)を実行して、受信トレイをダブルクリックすると、次のような英語のメッセージになり、OutlookExpress自体が終了してしまいます。
- メールが使えないのに「Please contact the application's suppurt team」とは、アメリカ人流の冗談なのかどうか分かりませんが、困ってます。
- サポートページにも役に立ちそうな情報が見つかりません。

どんぴしゃでした。 実はいままで他社製のウィルス対策ソフトを使っていたのですが、 肝心の能力が足りなくて有名ということで、 マカフィーに乗り換えたばかりです。 乗り換えた初日は良かったのですが、翌々日あたりからこの症状が。 マイクロソフトのサポートページには英語のエラーメッセージが出ること自体触れられていなくて、 マカフィーのヘルプには「信頼するプログラムの設定を云々」と書いてあったのですが、ヘルプの画面と実際の画面が違って 「選べるはずの項目が選べないじゃないかー」と憤慨してまして。 とにかく復旧しました。 それにしても、2006年11月27日の時点で分かっているプログラムの不具合を、 そのまま放置して売っているとは、けっこうな会社だなーと思った次第で。 せめて注意書きのビラでも箱の中に入れておけばいいのに、と。
