I hope my friend recover sick. 文法的には少々違いますが通じると思います。 I want to sleep これは正直文法的には間違いではまいと思います。意味は「眠りたい」になるので。 ただベットに入り眠りにつく、という意味では I want to go to sleep. になると思います。

英作文をしました。 「私は、息子を自分の思うようにさせる傾向がある」 I am apt to force my son to do what I want to. 文法的に正しいでしょうか？ 最後のI want to. のところが自信がないのですが。toはいるのでしょうか？ 教えてください。 全体でもっとよい表現があればそれも教えてもらえると助かります(^^)
