6.It matters little what kind of books one reads,so long as one has sound Jugment. また、so long as one has sound Jugment.のsoundは動詞だと思ったのですがどういう意味なのでしょうか?? 7.It is not wise, nor in the long run,is it kind,to tax the thritry for the wasteful. 8.We look back on days gone by if not always with affection,~ →byは必要なのですか?? それで、byの次に名詞がくるとして、if以下が名詞節でいいのですか?? 9.He told me that whatever might happened,he was prepared for it. →told me that whatever might~をtold me whatever might~にしたらだめですか?? happened,he was prepared for it.の部分でhappened, which he was prepared for it.だと思って文全体を修飾したら良いと思ったのですが、どうしてwhichはつかないのでしょうか?A,BでAを修飾可能なんですか?? 10.He hadn't been employed by the company two weeks before his linguistic abilities were recognized. →the company two weeksで、期間の前置詞forはいらないのですか??

I've been married to "Ned" for 25 years, and each year it seems to get worse. When we married, he told me I could do whatever I wanted with the house, but he never said I'd be the one paying. The house was barely furnished, the bedding had holes in it,

It is in determining these natural laws that he formulated his theory, a nuanced understanding of group loyalty, or solidarity, and its cyclical political implications that, one might suggest, presaged some modern theories of nationalism.

He prepared silently to accompany her. It is not good always to live alone. always は live を修飾しています。 He prepared to silently accompany her. He prepared silently to accompany her.

Since a genius, whatever it be, is like fire in the flint, only to be produced by collision with a proper subject, it is the business of every man to try whether his faculties may not happily cooperate with his desires, and since they whose proficiency he admires, knew their own force only by the event, he needs but engage in the same undertaking, with equal spirit, and may reasonably hope for equal success. Since a genius~=~なので it is the business of every man ~=~である and since they whose proficiency =~なので he needs but engage ~、and may reasonably hope =~であり、~である というのが大まかな形ですか?(sinceは"~なので"の意味?) 2)Since a genius, whatever it be, is like fire in the flint, only to be produced by collision with a proper subjectについて whatever it be・・・・itはgeniusを指しているのでしょうか? Since a genius~is like fire in the flint・・・火打石の火のようであるので only to ・・・~するだけで? only to be produced by collision with a proper subject ふさわしい主題に衝突することによって生じるだけで 3)it is the business of every man to try whether his faculties may not happily cooperate with his desires whetherは"・・・かどうか"の意味ですか? 4)and since they whose proficiency he admires, knew their own force only by the event そして彼が熟達を称賛する彼らは彼ら自身の力をイベントよってのみ知っていたので (内容が掴みにくいです) 5)he needs but engage in the same undertaking, with equal spirit, and may reasonably hope for equal success. needsは副詞の是非とも、という意味ですか? engageが原形になっているのはなぜなのでしょうか?
