まず、untilは明らかにおかしいですね？？ 次にon/upon です。どちらも同じような意味ですが、survive onでのonは≪依存≫という意味です。depend onと同じような意味です。なので、We don't know if we can survive on all this competition.とすると意味がおかしいです。あらゆる競争に頼って生き延びていく・・・？？変ですね。withはまぁ、方法・手段を表すwithでしょうか？？質問者様の言うとおり、競争して生き残る、という意味です。 解説ではwithが一番自然とありますが、自然というか、やはり他のものでは意味がおかしくなってしまいます。

disagree with とdisagree on の違いについて、どなたかわかる方教えていただけませんか。 英作文の模範解答に、I disagree on this decision but it can't can't be helped.とありました。disagree with は聞きなれているのですがtoは見たことがなくネットで調べたのですがでてきませんでした。どなたか、わかる方がいらっしゃいましたら教えてください。よろしくお願いします。

英語を勉強している者です。 わからない所があるので教えて下さい。 I don't know how they do that stuff. あんなのどうやったらできるんだろうね。 これのstuffですが 単語の意味を調べても上記の例文では何を意味しているのかがわかりません。 We can skate all we want. 思いっきり滑れるよな。 （スケートリンクに誰もいないので） のall we want もわかりません。 all we can make～の質問も以前したことがありまして それと同じような使い方なのかも知れませんが こっちのall we want はピンときません。 「私たちは私たちがほしい全てで滑れます。」 が口語となると上記の訳の意味になるのでしょうか。 最後にもうひとつですが 他人に、とあるポーズをして と依頼して how' that? こんな感じ？ との返答文があります。 ・・・が、色々なサイトを見ても how' that の使い方で 「こんな感じ？」 のような訳がでてきません。近いニュアンスもないような気がします。 これも教えて頂けると助かります。 お分かりの方、解説頂けるとありがたいです。 よろしくお願いします。
