ある英文の意味と構造を知りたいです．

マタイ効果とやらは知りませんでしたが、それほど複雑な文章には思えませんでした。 難しく感じたのは、古文（調？）で書かれているからでしょう。 英語の古文では、hasがhathになります。 また古い英語では未来形がwill系の他にshall系がありました。その場合I shall, thou shalt, he shall, we shall, ye shall, they shallの形で、二人称単数以外はshallでした。 ＊thouは現代英語で言う所のyou、yeは現代英語ではありませんがyouの複数です。 untoなんてのもtoですね。 ＞下記英文の意味と構造を教えてください 現代英語にしつつ構造てきにはこうなります。 For to every one who has 持っている者は will (more) be given （さらに）与えられるであろう , and he will have abundance; 豊かになるだろう but from him who has not 持っていない者は （ will not be given） （与えられないだろうし） , even what he has will be taken away. （持っているものまで取り上げられる。） 検索して日本語聖書の丸パクリですが、「持っている人はさらに与えられて豊かになる。 持っていない人は持っているものまでも取り上げられる」と日本語では書かれているようです。 ＞また，そもそもなぜこのような(少なくとも私にとっては...)難しい表現をしているのでしょうか？ 英語では主語が長くなる事はそんなに頻繁でなくともよくあります。 格別変わった構造とも思えません。 日本語でもそうですが、古文にすると「ありがたみ」がますので、それでわざわざ古文を使用されたのだと想像しますが、問題の英文を使用されたかたがどういう状況で引用されたのか分からない事には何とも言えません。

(No.B11) For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given. そこで質問ですが、No.11の冒頭の"For"は、前段の"upon them hath the light shined."を受けて、「何となれば(since,as)」という意味なのでしょうか？ 和訳で、"For"を敢えて訳さずに「ひとりのみどりごがわたしたちのために生まれた、ひとりのみどりごがわたしたちに与えられた」となっています。
