「両親が亡くなった子供は孤児と呼ばれる。」 これを英訳すると、 A child whose parents are dead is called an orphan. となると思いますが、 A child whose parents died is called an orphan. でもよいのでしょうか。 つまり 「be動詞 + dead」 と 「die」 の 使い方の違いはなんでしょうか？ どちらでもよい、というだけの話なのでしょうか？ よろしくお願いします。

返答ありがとうございます "a"が付いているので civilian teenager and amateur mobile suit pilot なる条件の者が複数いて、その中の一人であることは分かりました。 その複数の中で、両親が技師である者は普通に複数いることが考えられますか。それとも珍しくてほぼ単数でしょうか。注目すべき箇所が違いますか？
