EDI関係の英書を読んでいたらつまりました。英文は If the cycle time for manual purchase orders is 25 days, composed of 4 days of preparation, 3 days in the mail, 14 days in process at the supplier, and 4 days for delivery of the raw materials, the shortest possible cycle time if a company fully implemented EDI with suppliers would be 4 days. これは手作業以外、つまりコンピュ－タ－そのものが行う作業が何日ぐらいあるかという主旨でしょうか。 もし、そうなら＞composed of 4 days of preparationの個所にあたるのでしょうか。 どなたか教えてください。

「マニュアル購買（EDI導入前の現状のハンド発注） における日数が25日だとすると、 準備に4日、メールに3日、供給者（つまり仕入先） 側の準備に14日、原材料の配送に4日、となるので 会社がフルに仕入先にEDI（電子データ交換）での 取引を要求しているのなら、要求最短の調達に 要する日数は4日となるだろう」 というような意味ではないでしょうか。 つまりEDIを導入すると4日くらいに業務上 短縮できるんですよといっているんだと思います。 コンピュータがというよりも。。。

どうもです。 ＞準備に4日、メールに3日、供給者（つまり仕入先）側の準備に14日、原材料の配送に4日、となるので これがEDI導入前でEDI導入後では25日から4日間で短縮してしまうと解釈していいのでしょうか。
