fax through は、下記の副詞1のように、「直通で」と言う意味です。 http://eow.alc.co.jp/through/UTF-8/ 「すべておじさんのクレジットカードで払うはずだった。その後で彼のおじさんのクジットカード(の情報)をファックスで直送することになっていた。」 これは、ホテルの宿泊客がおじさんのクジットカードで支払いし、後で(チェックアウトしてから)彼のおじさんのクレジットカード(の番号など)を「直接」ホテル当てに送るという提案でしょう、 今どきこんな初歩的な詐欺にひっからるホテル支配人も居ないでしょうが、問題集などにはまだあるのかも知れませんね。
