最近英検２級の勉強を始めたのですが、英作文の書き方が全然わからず、添削できる知り合いが周りにいなくて悩んでいます。１９年度第二回の問題を書いたのですが、添削していただきたいです。大学卒業してからかなりブランクがあるので、おそらくめちゃくちゃです。暴言にならない程度にお願いします。 PS：文章が若干脱線気味ですが、文法とかを見てほしいです。 <Question> Today, some young people do not start working for large companies. Do you think number of these people increase the future? Why Japanese young people don’t want to work for large companies? One of the reason, Japanese Companies often occur Suicide of Employees. This is because Young employees were blamed by their boss. They feel much stress and anxious about their fail. Another reason, Japanese Companies income don’t increase. But their working time is increasing every year. And they cannot have a rest. So, Some Japanese young worker think “We are too much spending time to work, but our income isn’t increase. It is no worth for work for large companies”. It is my opinion. This is because young people don't want to work large companies. What should we do protect increase young people like that? This is problem not only our income but also our mental and work environment. I think we must hear everyone’s opinion and realize it as possible as we can. What is important for work? I think it is not income, with Employees’ Satisfaction. So we can protect increase the people who don’t want to work large companies.

こんにちは質問させてください。 下記の英文について、 Among the assets he considers undervaled are logistics companies, including convenience store and supermarket. 意味は「資産の中で、過小評価されているのは、コンビニはスーパーを含む流通企業であると彼はみなしている」 になるかなと理解します。 が、文法的に どう説明がつくのかがわからずもやもやしています。 consider A to be B＝ A はBとみなす。 だと思います。上記の英文でなぜ「are」が必要なのでしょうか？ He considers undervaled to be logistics companies ではだめでしょうか？ ご教示どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

「不定詞の副詞的用法・目的」についての質問です。 私が今まで見てきたこの用法の英文では、 I studied hard in order to pass the examination. のようにto以下の主語と全体の主語が一致しているものばかりでした。 つまり、studiedの動作主はIであり、passの動作主もIということです。 しかし、次の英文に出会いました。 The designers of modern architecture believe that in developing and perfecting it so as to answer this centry's problems and to be in tune with its outlook, they are helping at the revival of architecture as a live art. so as to以下が修飾している動詞は「developing and perfecting」ですから、これの動作主は「designers」であり、「ansewer this centry's problems」の動作主も「designes」であるので正しいと思います。ここまでは問題ありません。ところが次の、「to be tune …… outlook」の動作主を「designers」と考えると文脈的に訳の分からぬものになってしまいます。そこで、この部分の解釈は「it(=modern architecture)」を動作主として、「It is in tune with its outlook.」とするとすっきりするのでしょうが、上の通りこのような構造は初めてですので、混乱しています。 ここの解釈をお願いします。なお、私の解釈過程自体間違っている可能性もありますので、その時はご指摘願います。 参考までに、模範訳は以下の通りです。 「現代建築の設計者は、建築を進歩完成させて今世紀の諸問題を解決し、その外見にふさわしいものたらしめようとすることで、建築を生きた芸術として復活させることを助けていると確信している。」

こんにちは。 以下の英文について分からない部分があるので質問させてください。 "He had lost both his wife and daughter in the space of a few weeks to the then unknown virus." この文の”a few weeks to the then unknown virus”についてですがthe thenは「当時の」という意味だと思うのですがその前の"to"が何を意味しているのか分からないので解説していただけるとありがたいです。よろしくお願いします。
