３の rains 「時・条件を表す副詞節の中では、動詞は常に現在形」 ってやつです。 話の内容が未来のことだとしても、 if 節の時制は必ず現在形です。

「明日の明け方まで雨が降り続けるだろう」 はネイティブの方はどう表現するでしょうか？ １）It will rain till early tomorrow morning. ２）It will rain by early tomorrow morning. ３）It will be raining till early tomorrow morning. ４）It will be raining by early tomorrow morning. 明日の昼には止んでいる場合は will have rained will have been raining など、完了形を使うのでしょうか。 また、英語圏の実際の天気予報で使われている表現もあわせて教えていただけると、嬉しいです。

If it rains tomorrow, we will cancel the picnic. この英文は明日雨が降ることは現実的なので直説法と説明があるのですが もし雨が降ってもピクニックに行く可能性がある(キャンセルするかもしれない)時は If it rains tomorrow, we would cancel the picnic. のような表現は適切でしょうか？ 又、降水量がほとんどないような地域に住んでいて、雨の可能性が低いが、雨が降ったらピクニックは中止なら If it should rains tomorrow, we will cancel the picnic. この英文は仮定法といっていいのでしょうか？

「もし明日雨が降ったら、私は彼の家に行きます。」は ○If it rains tomorrow, I will go to his house. ×If it will rain tomorrow, I will go to his house. になると思います。 今までの英語学習経験からも、「教えて！goo」に投稿されている過去の回答からもこのルールには納得がいっています。 ですが、一方でwill≑be going to という視点で見た場合、同じようなことが起きるのでしょうか？ つまり、 ×If it will rain tomorrow, I will go to his house. ×If it is going to rain tomorrow, I will go to his house. ○If it rains tomorrow, I will go to his house. なのでしょうか？ 単純に言うとwillの表す未来には意思が入っていて、be going to の表す未来には意思が入っていないと理解しているのですが、どちらとも未来や予定を表す表現かと思います。 もともと自分が疑問に思い始めた文は ・If you are going to ride this bike, be careful. なのでできたらこちらも含めて、どなたかおわかりの方いらっしゃいましたらお願いします。
