The Nikkei average slumped to a fresh 18-month low just above the 14,500 threshold Monday as Wall Street’s sharp slide Friday undermined investor sentiment. このa flesh 18-month lowというのがよく分らないのですがどのようなことでしょうか。 またthe 14,500 threshold Monday はthe 14,500 threshold on Monday Wall Street’s sharp slide Friday はWall Street’s sharp slide on Fridayの省略だと思いますが、このような省略をしてもよいという説明はどのようにすればよいでしょうか。

as以降は「金曜のウォールストリートの急激な株価下落が投資家心理を弱めたため」ということで、それが日経平均の下落につながったという理由を述べていると思うので、このままでも不都合はないかと感じました。

経済記事を見慣れている私には、英文に欠落がある感じがするのですが、原文は合っていますか？ またWall Streetの話は、日経平均に対比させるために出しているだけなので、as の前にひとくぎりこないとしっくりきません。

アルクにこのようにありましたので hit a fresh __-year low 《株》＿年ぶりの最安値になる 日経平均株価は月曜に節目の14,500円ギリギリの18か月ぶりの最安値まで下落した、といったような感じかもしれません。 株は全く分かりませんので、この内容であっているかどうかも確認できませんけど。 ただ、thresholdは「基準点、境界、閾値」などの意味がありますし、株の記事をとりあえず眺めたところ14,500円が「節目」と書いているものが多くありましたので、多分ここでも節目でいいのかなあと思いました。 なお、新聞記事などでは曜日の前にonを書いていないものが多く見られるようです。紙面で文を短くするための手段でしょう。

threshold に関しては私は勘違いしてると思います。専門用語のようです。専門家さんを待ってください。したがって threshold on Monday でも良いはずです。

the 14,500 threshold Monday theがついているのでthe 14,500 thresholdでひとまとまりだと思うのですが１４５００ポイントという最低水準？ぐらいの意味かと思っているのですが。。 今日（正確には昨日）はたくさん質問してしまいましたがこれで打ち止めです。 夜遅くまでお付き合いくださりありがとうございました。

- NewSoft CD Labelerを起動して「ブラザー製のプリンタが見つかりません」というエラーが表示され、LAN接続ではプリント機能は正常に動作するが、レーベルプリントができないトラブルが発生しています。
- プリンタのインストールは付属のCDやブラザーHPからのダウンロードで行いましたが、問題は解決していません。
- お使いの環境はWindows11で、プリンタは有線LAN接続されています。関連するソフトはNewSoft CD Labelerです。電話回線の種類はアナログ回線です。
