「本を読めば読むほど」と言いたいのであれば， 前半は The more books you read のように，books を用いるのであれば many books の比較級で more books とすべきです。 「読む」を修飾する副詞 much の比較級 more を使うのであれば The more you read で十分です。 実際は，read だけで「本を読む」という意味がでますので， The more you read の方がいいでしょう。

The wiser you become, the more books you read. 「賢くなるほど、本をたくさん読む（意味的に逆に思えるかもしれませんが、気にしないでください）」の主節（the more..）を普通の語順にしたい場合、 You read more books the wiser you becomeまたは You read the more books the wiser you becomeでいいですか？

英語の文法の、The 比較級 ～～, the 比較級 ～～. の形の文の質問です。 現在、 1. The more money "that" the city allows into circulation, the greater the risk of inflation. という文において、ここに"that"を入れても構わない（もしくは、入れる必要がある）理由がわからず悩んでいます。 現在勉強に使っている文献によるとこのthatが入っていることは文法上問題ないとのことなのですが、その理由が今一つわかりません。 例えば 2. The more money you put in, the more return you get. 3. The more you eat, the more you get fat. という文は合っていますが、 4. The more money that you put in, the more return you get. 5. The more that you eat, the more you get fat. という、"that"を入れた文は合っている、ということなのでしょうか？ 1, 4, 5のいずれの場合においても、thatを入れるのは不自然な感じがしてしまいます。これはどのように考えればいいのでしょうか…？

塾講師をしている者です。【The 比較級～, the 比較級～】構文について教えて下さい。 The more money you earn, the bigger the house you want. という文では、the bigger the house とhouse の前にもthe がついていますが、これが例えば、 The more money you earn, the bigger a house you want. ではまずいのでしょうか？細かく意識していなかったのですが、【The 比較級】のthe は後ろの名詞（house）とは全く無関係であると考えるべきでしょうか？ house の前に、【the】, 【a】, 【無冠詞】はそれぞれ可能であれば、意味はどのように変わってきますか？ 宜しくお願いします。

be likely toを含んだ文で The 比較級, the 比較級構文を作ると、 The more careful you are in making plans, the more likely you are 【to】 be successful. となるのはわかります。 【to】はbe likely toのtoですよね。 でも 現在形でなく、willを使うと The more careful you are in making plans, the more likely you will be successful. となり、toはありません。 つながりがないようで、なんとなく納得できません。 どう考えればいいのか教えていただけないでしょうか。 よろしくお願いします。

今、英語の比較級の勉強をしているのですが、少し疑問に思うところがありました。 the 比較級～、the 比較級～、の比例変化の問題です。 （）内の語句を、正しく並び替えなさい。 The longer you work, （you/ money/ more/ get/ the）. これで自分は、the more money you get と並び替えました。 ところが、答えを見ると the more you get money となっていました。 自分は、解答は、money の位置がおかしいと思うのですが…。 解答が間違っているのでしょうか？それとも私の答えが間違っているのでしょうか？
