(1) 同じだと思います。ただ，「あなたの方は？」というときの How about you? では what に変えることはできません。 (2) What do you think of ～?「～はどう思いますか」という言い方は，think much of ～「～を重んじる」，think little of ～「～を軽んじる」の疑問詞表現です。この much や little は highly や lightly という副詞に置き換えることができるという点で，副詞と考えられますが，どこかに，think の目的語という感覚があるのか，通常 what で尋ねることになります。 そして，How do you think ですが，確かに，「どういう方法で（状態で）思うのか」という意味にならないこともないのでしょう。しかし，めったにそういう言い方はしないでしょう。How do you think はそういう意味で文法的に正しい，とかいうのでなく，上で説明した，「～について，どう思いますか」という意味で用いられることも多いのです。それは，上で述べたように，much や little を素直に副詞ととらえているからだと思います。ただし，正式な用法は what であり，how は非標準的な言い方だとされているようです。

BBCでアナウンサーが How do you think ～? と言っていたのですが， 昔は， What(×How) do you think～? How(×What) do you feel～? と習ったのですが，日常ではHow do you think～?も使うのでしょうか？ よろしくお願いします。

“What do you think about（of）～”で、「～をどう思いますか？」という意味ですが、 “How do you think about（of）～”は、間違いなのに、 “What do you feel about～”,“How do you feel about～” と、なぜ“feel”の場合は、“how”が使えるのかが分かりません。なぜ、そうなるのかを教えて下さい。

How do you think~はTOEICなどでは間違いとされていますが，ブリティッシュイングリッシュではしばしば使用すると聞きました。TOEICの勉強をかなりやっていたので，How do you think~は間違いというのが頭にかなり強く残っているので許容だと聞いた時にはかなりショックでした。でも，これってホントなのでしょうか？イギリス留学経験者，イギリス在住の方，教えて下さい。

What do you think～についてご教授お願いいたします。 What do you thinkに節が続けられるとの用法があるのようですが、これはWhat が What do you think I've got in my bag?にgotの目的ではなくWhat do you think I'm going to Japan?のように副詞的にwhatが働いているとの事でしょうか？口語ではWhat do you think abot I'm going~.とできる（文法的には問題があるかもしれませんが）ようですが。 What if I didn't get married, what would you think it would be miserable?とすることはできるのでしょうか？やはりHow miserable do you think I would be if I didn't get married?としなければならないでしょうか？Do you think if I didn' get married I/it it would be miserable?（itはI didn' get married）なら文意をなすと思うのですが。 解説よろしくお願いします。
