電気回路関係の英語教えてください。

ずばり、”because of square law fall-off in reception at high frequencies”これは日本語にするとどうなりますか。この中の”square law fall-off"がうまく訳せません。 どなたか教えてください。

Square lawは私も解りませんし、英語でも聞いたことがありません。 専門家ではないので解らないのですが、はしょっているという可能性はありますでしょうか? また文脈でinverse square lawのことをいっているように思うのですがどうでしょう?

これはinverse square law fall-off ではないのですか? そうであれば、逆二乗則による減衰ですね。
