MediaPlayerClassic起動しようとしたらランタイムエラーでた！

OSはMEを使用していますが、次のようなエラーが出現しました。 Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\WINDOWS\デスクトップ\MPC2KXP6482_JP_R1\MPLAYERC.EXE This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. どうやらVisual C++のランタイムがいるみたいですが、どれが必要かわかりません。誰か教えていただければ幸いです。

これはランタイムの問題ではありません。 MediaPlayerClassicには２つのバージョンがあるのです。 質問での記述からしてインストールされたのは2000/XP用のビルドのようです。98/Meをお使いの場合はそれ専用のビルドをお使い下さい。 最近の雑誌に収録されてるものの場合、2000/XP用の"mpc2kxpxxxx.zip"のみ収録、という場合が多いようです。 その辺を理解されて"mpc98me-"というビルドをDLして使って下さい。

ありがとうございます。よくみると確かにXP/2000用とME用に分かれていました。
