訳してみましたが（下手な訳で申し訳ございません。正しいのかも甚だ怪しいです）、 suggest の目的語はこの文中にないような気もします。もしかしたら後続の The Wars of the Roses had ended with the coming of Henry the Seventh を指しているのでしょうか。
英語に詳しくないため、お手数かけますが、ご教授頂けましたら幸いです。

"ntt"ルールと言うそうです。田尻悟郎先生が命名したと思われます。

これが不自然に思われました。このルールを真実と仮定すると、

の「am going to」が「アムゴーイントゥー」から「ガナ」に変化することを説明できません。
よって、私は、上記の「nttルール」は間違いでは ないか、と考えています。正しくは、以下の法則では ないでしょうか。
「to を末尾にふくむ複合動詞は、途中の発音を省略して「（be動詞では ない）動詞の最初の音＋no」に変化する。」
これだと「want to」は「ワナ」に、「be going to」は「ガナ」になります。
これで正しいかどうか自信がないため質問させていただきます。できれば英語、特にネイティブの英語に詳しい人にかいとうを希望しています。よろしくお願いいたします。
