大学受験の英語長文参考書の著者は誰？
- 大学受験の英語長文の参考書には、著者が記載されている場合と記載されていない場合があります。
- 英語長文で出典が記載されていない場合、その長文は参考書の著者によって書かれたと見做してよいでしょう。
- ただし、ネイティブが書いた文章と思わせるようなセンセーショナルな文言がある場合、注意が必要です。

すみません。No.2です。肝心の質問にお答えしていませんでした。 > 英語長文で出典が記載されていない場合、その長文はその参考書の著者によって書かれたと見做していいのでしょうか？ No. 2をお読みになれば私の考えはおわかりと思いますが、「そうは思いません」というのが私の答えです。やはり英米人など、いわゆるネイティブの英語話者の文章を採用していると思います。

こんにちは。 ＞ 明らかにネイティブならこんな文書かないと思わせる文章がいくつもあって正直イライラしています。 それはまだ質問者さんが英米人の書いたいろんな生の文章に出会ってないためかもしれないと思います。実際に社会に出て英米人とメールのやりとりをしたりすると、ちゃんと高い教育を受けた方なのにほんとに意味のとりづらい文章を書く人にあうことがあります。 お示しの文のひとつめはたしかに、教科書的なすっきりした文じゃないかもしれませんが、むしろ英米人が順に頭に浮かんだままに書きなぐって行った場合、こういう文ができるのだと思いますよ。逆に日本人の教科書筆者にはこういう文章は書けないと私は思います。我々が日本語を書くのでも、さあこれから日本語を勉強したての外国人に読ませようと思って文を書けば、丁寧にわかりやすい日本語にしようとつとめるでしょうが、読者が日本人のときに気楽に書くときは、そうでもなくてごちゃごちゃした文章を書いてしまう場合もあると思います。 それからお示しの文のふたつめは私にはいたってシンプルなわかりやすい文章に思えます。

But every cloud is made of water droplets or ice crystals. Why doesn't rain or snow fall constantly from all clouds? The droplets or ice crystals in clouds are exceedingly small. The effect of gravity on them is minute. Air currents move and lift droplets,so that the net downward displacement is zero,even though the droplets are in constant motion. Droplets and ice crystals behave somewhat like dust in the air made visible in a shaft of sunlight. To the casual observer,dust seems to act in a totally random fashion,moving about chaotically without fixed direction. But in fact dust particles are much larger than water droplets and they finally fall. The cloud droplet of average size is only 1/2500 inch in diameter. It is so small that it would take sixteen hours to fall half a mile in perfectly still air,and it dose not fall out of moving air at all. Only when the droplet grows to a diameter of 1/125 inch or larger can it fall from the cloud. The average raindrop contains a million times as much water as a tiny cloud droplet. The growth of a cloud droplet to a size large enough to fall out is the cause of rain and other forms of precipitation. This important growth process is called ‘‘coalescence.’’

TOPIC:日本は食料自給率をあげるべきだ。 Im for this opinion.Japan's self-sufficiency ratio is too low nowadays.It is about 40 ％,which means that Japan is quite dependent on other countries for food.There are mainly two problems. To begin with,if there happens a serious climate change,the price of food rises.Then itwill have a direct impact on food we usually eat,such as rice.When Australia experienced serious lack of rain,the price of wheet rised.Then that in Japan rised,too. Another problem is safety of food.In other countries,harmful substances which are not accepted in Japan can be used.Certainly,polluted crops are usually be got rid of at the customs.However,it sometimes happens that some of them reach kitchen.This is bad for your health. Therefore,I think we have to make efforts to raise self-sufficiency ratio for food. 全部で150語近くあります。長すぎですみません。文法、綴り、論理の面で怪しいところを指摘していただけたら嬉しいです。
