ここは been より gone のほういいと思いますが。 I wish I had gone to bed with preparing for the test. I wish I had prepared for the test before going to bed. →What's the name of your friend whose book you borrowed? か What's the name of your friend you borrowed a book from? 関係代名詞は省略できます。

what’ｓ the deal を含んだ文なのですが、意味がよく分かりません。 I called to find out what the deal with the shipment was. = I called to find out what was going on with the shipment. What’s the deal with the dancing ? =What’s the reason for the dancing? 上の文は本当によく分かりません。下の文は「そのダンスは何ですか？」になるのですか？それともresonが入っているので、「そのダンスをする理由はなんですか？」になるのでしょうか？

こんばんわ。いつもお世話になっております。 I went to London on Saturday.I went to the zoo. I went on a train.I went with my Dad. We saw the lions. Then we saw the penguins. Then we came home. I liked the hippos. I didn't see any snakes. And I didn't see any gorillas. I had a good time. My Dad had a good time. と、英文を作ったのですが、どうもブツブツ切れてしまいしまいます。これをつなげてもっとスムーズな文にしたいのですが。。。手直ししていただけないでしょうか？よろしくお願い致します。

テキストがこう言ってます ↓ go to bed は英語ではあくまで「ベッドに向かって移動する」という１回 の動作を指す。「寝る」という状態を指すのではない。 When I was arrived home, my son had been in bed for more than two hours. は良いが When I was arrived home, my son had gone to bed for more than two hours. は不自然。 以下の例を見ても分かる。 I have gone to that high school for 3 years now, and the graduation is tomorrow. と、いうわけですが、↑この文は、不自然な文の例のようです。 日本語で言う「継続して学校に通っていた」意味ではなく、 不自然なのですよね。 でも、どういうのが自然なのでしょうか。 例文がありましたらご教授ください。

お世話になります。 with、時を表す語、by の位置についていくつか質問があります。、 まずto不定詞を使う文のwith の位置についてですが、 「私は友達のメアリーとテニスをしに公園へ行きました。」という 意味の文を作るとき、 １．I went to the park with my friend Mary to play tennis. ２．I went to the park to play tennis with my friend Mary. の２つの文で、１の方が自然かなと思うのですが、どうでしょうか。 ２だと、メアリーとテニスをするために公園へ行くという意味に なる場合もある気がするのですが。withの位置はどこでも よいのでしょうか。それと「私は友達のメアリーとテニスをしに 公園へ行きました。」という意味の場合、目的を表すto不定詞は 文の後ろに持ってきた方がよいでしょうか。 また１の文に this morning という語を入れる場合は、 １．I went to the park with my friend Mary to play tennis this morning. ２．１．I went to the park with my friend Mary this morning to play tennis. ２の文より、１の文の方が自然でしょうか。（時を表す語は一番後ろに 置くのが正しいですか） あと、受身のbyで、父に～と言われたという文を作るとき、 thatの後ろが長い文になった場合は I told that ～ by my father. よりも、 I told by my father that～．の方がよいのでしょうか。 長くなりましたが、よろしくお願いします。
