異音がして英文のメッセージが・・故障なのか不安です。

突然ハードから『コトコト』とゆうか『カタカタ』と異音がなり始め、しばらくすると画面が真っ黒になり、下記のようなメッセージが表示され、止まります。 打ってみましたが少々写し間違いがあるかもしれませんが、対処の仕方が解る方がいましたら教えてください。 ↓ A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. kernel date inpage error If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,restart your computer. こんにちは エラーコードからは 色々想像される異常個所がありますが(コントローラ、RAMなど） 音がするならHDDが壊れた反応だと思われます。 再起動時にCD-ROMドライブやFDDが コトコトいっているだけかもしれませんが… とりあえず起動時にF8を押して 各種セーフモードで立ち上げてみて スキャンディスクで異常がないか確認してみてください。 イベントログもチェックしましょう 気になるイベントが記録されているかもしれません。 ソフトやドライバが原因なら何か残っているかも。 どうにも立ち上がらなくなったり スキャンディスクの実行が上手くいかない時は 説明書などをよく読んで 再セットアップしてみるのが手順かと思います。 ※再セットアップするに際してスキャンディスクも実行されるはず その他ウイルスチェックやメモリを抜いてみるなど 色々対処はあると思いますが 古いPCならあきらめてみるのも一つの手だと思います。 年末商戦で新しいPCを買いましょう。

こんにちは。 ハードから、と申されましても、具体的にどのようなシステムか全く明記されていなければ答えようがないのですが・・・ ただ、windows updateという文字があるところを拝見すると、Windows系のOSをお使いだと推察します。 少なくとも、特定のファイルを正常に読み込めなくなっているのでOSが起 動しない、ということは言えそうですね。 ここ最近で、何かハードウェア、もしくはOSに変更を加えたりしていないでしょうか？ もしまったくソフト・ハードとも変更なく使っていて、異音がこれまで（起動中に）全く耳にしたようなことのない音であれば、ハードウェアの故障の可能性が一番高いような気がしないでもありませんが・・・考えられるのは、ハードディスクかメモリかなぁ。 お使いのマシンのメーカーサポートに問い合わせるのが一番早いような気もいたします。

システムの明記がないとのご指摘。 ありがとうございます。 システムは Fronta12さんが仰るとおり Microsoft windows Professional Version2002 ServicePack2 です。 また、ここ最近で特に ハードウェアもソフトも変更した記憶はありません。 以上補足いたします。
