＞以下の英文を日本語に訳すとどうなりますか？「裕福な国からの観光国は、場所と環境を守るために多くのお金を使わなければいけません。」という意味で大体合っていますか？ Tourist companies from richer countries must spend much more money today to protect the famous places and enviroments of tomorrow. ⇒以下のとおり、語句の説明と訳文をお答えします。 （語句） ＊Tourist companies from richer countries：「より裕福な国から来る観光客は」。companiesは、ここでは「お客」で、比較級richerは「（自国）より裕福な」という意味でしょう。 ＊must spend much more money today：「今日ではかつてより多くのお金を使うに違いありません」。mustは、この場合「～ねばならない」でなく、「～に違いない」だと思います。spend much more moneyという比較級は、「（かつてより）多くのお金を使う」という意味でしょう。その比較のためにtoday「今日では」が入っているわけですね。 ＊to protect the famous places and enviroments of tomorrow：「それで未来の名所や環境を保護できます」。to protectは目的「守るために」と訳すことが多いですが、ここでは結果「それで守る（ことができる）」と訳す方が具合がよさそうです。なお、enviromentsは誤植で、正しくはenvironments です（oとmの間にnが入ります）。 （訳文） 「わが国より裕福な国から来る観光客は、今日ではかつてより多くのお金を使うに違いありませんので、それで未来の名所や環境を保護できます。」

きついことを言うようですが、 ＞＞裕福な国からの観光国は、 というのが、そもそも日本語の体をなしていません。 「富裕国の観光企業は、名所旧跡の未来にむけた環境保護のために、 もっと投資すべきです」 とでも翻訳したいですね。

いつもお世話になっています。 以下の文についてお教え頂けないでしょうか。 I must stop eating so much. (1)so muchは副詞でしょうか？ 辞書で調べたら、形容詞になっていました。so muchは形容詞でeatingの後置修飾をしているのでしょうか？ We should'nt spend too much money. という文がありました。 too much money→so much money ともできると考えてよろしいでしょうか？ いつも恐縮でございますが、お教えの程どうぞ宜しくお願い申し上げます。
