１。上記のwhat,if はWhat if ～？（ならどうだろう？）と同語でしょうか？ 違うと思います。 ２。what が二回繰り返されている what is it all but Metaphors,recognized as such or no longer recognized？ という疑問文に if you except some few primitive elements という文が挿入されている構文でしょう。

はじめまして。留学するためにTOEFLの学習をしているのですが、長文問題で、Such a business is usually small, having few if any employees.という文章が文の流れの中であるのですが、having few if any employees.に対する主語は、Such a businessだと思いますが、この文型はhavingを分詞構文と考えてもよいのでしょうか？あと、疑問文でも否定文でもないのにanyとなっていますが、someではないのでしょうか？教えて下さい。

Seems to me, it aint the world that's so bad but what we're doin' to it. And all I'm saying is, see, what a wonderful world it would be if only we'd give it a chance. Love baby, love. That's the secret, yeah. If lots more of us loved each other, we'd solve lots more problems. And then this world would be の次が聞き取れません。いろいろ調べましたが、ほとんどが "better."と記してありますが、”a gasser.”と聞き取れます。すみませんが、本当は、何と言っているのか教えてください。
