Why did I plan a trip before my friend had a baby?

１。 I had plannedと過去完了が使われていますが、これでは友達が赤ちゃんを授かる前に旅行を計画していたとなってしまわないのでしょうか？ はい。 ２。なぜ過去完了なのか教えてください。 友達の赤ちゃんを見に行きたかったので、友達から妊娠の知らせがあった時に「赤ちゃん見に行くね、貴女にも会いたいし」と計画したのでしょう。 産後を承知で、旅行計画を立てたことは明らかですが、文面で、友達がまさか産後の体型に劣等感を持っていて、しかもプールに行くとは思わなかったからでしょう。
