Personal computers are very useful tools.とThe personal computer is a useful tool.が両方あったのですが、2つの違いは何でしょうか？ １。違いは二つで、一つは文法の違い。すなわち最初の文は複数、２番目は単数（日本語では同じ）です。 もう一つは意味の違いで、最初の文の意味は「パソコンはとても便利な道具だ」、２番目の文の意味は「パソコンは便利な道具だ」です。 ２。なぜ一般のパソコンの話なのに"The" personal computer なのでしょうか？ 下記の B.１.a.にある「総称用法」です。 http://ejje.weblio.jp/content/the

「私は犬が好きだ」を訳せますか？訳せますよね、たぶん。 普通は I like dogs. だと思います。 ですが、定冠詞The+可算名詞単数形で「およそ～というもの」という意味を出すこともあるのですよ。 ですから「私は犬が好きだ」を訳すとき I like the dog. と言っても絶対間違いとは言えません。 ですが、実用的にはかなり無理な文章と言えまして、ネイティブにこう言ったら What dog? と言うような返事が返ってくるでしょう。 この文でなぜTheが出てくるの？という疑問は、従ってかなりいいところを突いている疑問です（一応、私は元英語担当塾講師です）。センスはあると思います。 定冠詞にはこういう使い方もある、と頭の隅に置いておいて下さい。

私は茂木健一郎さんの「僕たちは美しく生きていけるのだろうか」という本に大いに感銘を受けた。この本では「心が美しいということ」を題材に話が進められている。私は心が美しいということはありのままの自分を認めて、精一杯生きることだと思った。忙しい日々が毎日単調に過ぎていくなかで、ふと人生について考え、何か時が止まったような思いがした。 I was very impressed by the book written by Kenichiro Mogi. The title is can we live beautifuly? The main subject in the book is to keep your heart beautiful. I think that means you should accept what you are and enjoy your life. 現在中2です。 冬休みの宿題で将来の夢についての英作文がでました。 そこで色々やって作って、今日塾の先生にも見てもらいました。 でも、少しやり直しの部分がでてしまいました。 明日も塾に行くけれど、明日は完成したのを見せたいので できれば今日中に完成させたいんですっ!! 少し直したのですが、まだおかしいところがあるかもしれません。 もしおかしいところなどありましたら、アドバイスお願いします!!
