1. はnow that I'm olderを一括りで考えて、「大人になった今」「より大人になったので」。辞書で now thatを弾いてみてください。 I've added は、子供の頃は、その前にある、今日という日、家族、健康へのキリストへの感謝、に加えて。おとなになってから(that now ～）加え始めたので現在完了になっています。 2. 1.でほぼ説明したと思いますが、that はnowについていて now that I'm older。次が現在完了になっていますが、意味的にはちょうどthat I'm olderが、since I got old 見たいな感じでしょう。ただ、いつoldまたはolderになったか明確にできるものでもないのであくまでも表現を理解する上で。 pray ～に対して、and I've added ～ で動詞としては並列。意味としては、pray ～に～を追加して祈りだした。

There were several reasons for choosing Kyoto, rather than any other city in Japan. First of all, it had been spared the bombings that destroyed most other Japanese cities. Secondly, to someone like myself who was interested mainly in classical literature, it was natural to choose the place where most Japanese literature was composed for over a thousand years. Finally, the only two friends I had in Japan---one Japanese and one American--- were both living in Kyoto. I arrived in Tokyo one rainy evening in August 1953, and headed directly from the airport to Tokyo Station where I boarded the night train for Kyoto. I sent a telegram to my Japanese friend, who met me at Kyoto Station and took me to his house, where I was to live for about a month. My friend expected that I would want to rest the first day after my arrival in Japan, but I was much too excited to rest. I asked the friend to take me with him wherever he went that day. As it happened, he had business at the Suntory Whiskey Distillery between Kyoto and Osaka. My first sightseeing in Kyoto therefore took place not at a famous temple or garden, but at a distillery!

またまた英文日記を書いてみました。文法的な間違いや、表現のおかしい部分などがあれば、直していただけると助かります(^^)ネイティブならこんな表現をするなど、指摘してくださると,なおうれしいです(^^) I’ve worried about my son’s meals lately. He usually reluctant to eat fish, meat, and vegetables. He likes fruits and staple food such as bread, noodle, rice…. I’m worried that this way would harm my son’s health and growth, so I force food into his mouth every time. I thought that I needed to idea that he could eat nourishment, so I made special soup. I put fish, meat ,mushroom , and vegetables to this soup. He rather eats this soup so I often make this special soup. I ‘m worried ,however, that he will perhaps become no sense of taste if he continues eating this soup.

The tech and studio staff at the Music Research Center took care of most of that and after ironing out some bugs I had an amazing space in which I could work alone late into the night and control everything as I walked around the room. I was so low doubting life and angry at the world. All i've been through,in past relationships.....?? and now the mistakes i've made, the hurt and disappointment i've had before... Believe me, i've had many awful thoughts looking for an easier way to escape my own misery, the reality as it was, I really thought I lost all hope and faith ...the light no longer shined...and I could barely see.
