Q:Coconut Fatty Acid Cream Base -- Absorption base containing essential fatty acids, coconut fatty alcohols from palm kernels, aloe vera and vitamins A, C and E. Rich in linoleic and linolenic acids (vitamin F), excellent nutrients and skin conditioners. In hair care products, it is often combined with the important amino acids cysteine and methionine, which are high in sulfur and excellent for the hair and scalp. Q: What is your coconut fatty acid cream base? A: This natural absorption base is a proprietary blend invented by Aubrey Hampton in 1968 to deliver conditioning nutrients to the skin, hair and scalp. It is made with coconut fatty alcohol, essential fatty acids and organic aloe vera, and is sometimes referred to as essential fatty acid cream base. Q: What are essential fatty acids? A: Fatty acids and glycerin are the building blocks of fats and oils from both plants and animals. Essential fatty acids (EFAs) such as linoleic and linolenic acids cannot be manufactured by the body and must be consumed in the diet. EFAs are utilized by the body in practically every biochemical function, including the production of sebum, the skin’s natural oil. Applied topically, EFAs are readily absorbed by the skin. They are excellent emollients that not only improve the absorption of our moisturizers and conditioners, but also have antibacterial properties that help protect the skin, hair and scalp. They are found in many unprocessed oils, especially safflower and flax seed oils. Q: What is a fatty alcohol? A: Some of the most common fatty alcohols are cetyl, lauryl, oleyl and stearyl fatty alcohols. Solid alcohols are made from fatty acids. They are superb natural emollients, not to be confused with liquid solvent-type alcohols. Cetyl and stearyl alcohols help keep the hair and scalp’s natural moisture from evaporating. Cetyl alcohol was first derived from the oil of sperm whales; it is also widely produced from petroleum oil. Aubrey Organics only uses cetyl alcohol from natural vegetable sources—coconut and palm oils. Q: What are fatty acids esters? A: Esterification of a fatty acid is a condensation reaction in which a molecule of acid unites with a molecule of alcohol with the elimination of water. Fatty acid esters can be very beneficial in cosmetic formulas. Two examples in nature of substances rich in fatty acid esters are jojoba oil and human sebum. Q: Are Aubrey Organic’s products vegan? A: Most Aubrey products are vegan: that is, they contain no ingredients derived from animals. We mark these products with a vegan label so concerned customers will know. A few of our hair care products contain lactalbumin (a milk protein), glycoprotein (derived from oyster shells), lanolin or egg protein. These ingredients work well in hair care, but we also offer vegan alternatives using plant-derived proteins in most of our hair care products. In our skin care line, Vegecol is a vegetable collagen moisturizer formulated as a vegan alternative to Collagen TCM, a dermal protein moisturizer. 長文の為、大変申し訳ございませんが、どうか宜しくお願いします!!

Water is our most important natural resource. Yet though water covers most of the Earth, only 2.5% of it is salt-free. Demand for fresh water has risen sharply in the last 50 years, and it is still going up. That’s already causing serious problems. Finding the right solutions may be one of the biggest challenges of our time. There are several reasons behind the growing crisis. The first is waste. About 70% of our fresh water is used to grow crops. It takes 1,000 tons of water to grow just one ton of wheat. Unfortunately, around 60% of that water is wasted. Better irrigation methods would help the situation. Pollution is another big problem. Many of the world’s great rivers, such as the Ganges in India, are badly polluted. Yet 350 million people rely on the Ganges. Their health is affected by the health of the river. Steps are being taken to clean up some waterways, but it is expensive and can take years. Overuse also puts pressure on water supplies. In the USA, 95% of the country’s fresh water comes from underground sources. With so much water being used to grow crops and raise livestock, water levels are dropping rapidly. Once used, those supplies are gone forever, since they are not refilled by rainwater. The key there is to lower demand. In many places around the world, people already live in crisis. More than one billion people have no access to clean water. That leads to millions of deaths every year, including thousands of children dying every day in Africa. By 2025, as many as 25 African countries may face severe water shortages. The situation could even lead to wars over water rights. The fresh water crisis is not limited to poor regions. Indeed, rich and poor countries from Asia to Europe to North America are facing shortages. It’s a growing problem that could soon affect us all.

Can someone please please please help me with grade 9 chemistry... I don't understand the topic of at all >< It would be nice if you will give an explanation as well as the answer 1) Write down the dissolution equation for rubidium chromate dissolving in water. (Chromate is a polyatomic ion with the formula CrO42-.) If two moles of the ionic compound are dissolved, then how many moles of the CATION are present in the solution? 2) Calculate the concentration of chromate ion, CrO42–, in a saturated solution of CaCrO4 (Ksp=7.1×10^–4) 3) Substances which will conduct electricity in the form given: - FeSO4(s) - 1M HNO3 in water - sand - 0.1M glucose (sugar) water - 0.1M solution of lithium sulphate 4) A solution is known to contain only one type of anion. Addition of Tl1+ ion to the solution had no apparent effect (all ions remained in solution), but addition of Ba2+ ion resulted in a precipitate. Which anion is present? - SO42- - Cl1- - I1- - NO31- 5) Write the balanced chemical equation for the dissolution of magnesium bromide. What is the coefficient in front of the solvated anion? 6) Write the formula for the dissolution of aluminum perchlorate in water. 7) Select ALL of the following compounds which can be dissolved in water to prepare a 0.2 M aqueous solution. (Hint: use solubility rules) - ammonium sulfate - lead(II) acetate - aluminium perchlorate - mercury(I) bromide - silver chloride - copper(I) thiocyanate 8 ) Each of the following pairs of 0.2 M aqueous solutions are mixed. Which mixture results in the formation of a precipitate? - ammonium acetate + sodium hydroxide - barium iodide + zinc nitrate - manganese(II) chloride + magnesium acetate - sodium sulfate + barium chloride Thanks :D
