DISTRIBUTIVE NUMERALS

EACH PERSON(ONE,各人)、EVERY OTHER WEEK(ENTAILING TWO WEEKS、隔週に、1週間おきに)、EVERY THREE DAYS(2日おきに、3日毎に)、・・・ AT EACH SIDE OF THE GATE(門の両側[内外]に)は、DISTRIBUTIVE NUMERALSと呼ばれていますが、日本語では何と呼ぶのでしょうか?

I am a retired male. My girlfriend is still working. We have been exclusive for three years. We live 300 miles apart, but see each other every two or three weeks for at least three days and, until now, have had a very good relationship. The problem is, she's saying she wants to socialize with her ex-husband, who lives in her town. They have been divorced for eight years, but she wants to see him occasionally in a social setting, not just when it pertains to their two adult children, who live out of state. 1 We have been exclusiveというのは、「二人以外とは誰も付き合っていない」ということでしょうか? 2 every two or three weeks for at least three daysは「2、3週間に少なくとも3日」ということでしょうか? 3 not just when it pertains to their two adult childrenの訳を教えてください。

A distributive numeral is a numeral which expresses a group of the number specified と定義され英語からの例として、By the dozen と In pairs が挙っています。

Calendar usually makes us realize the date, a day of the week and our schedule. So calendar is very useful for us to check the date, a day of the week and our schedule. A week is made up 5 week days and 2 holidays. Week days are from Monday to Friday for students and holidays are Saturday and Sunday. Week days are written by black figure and Saturday is written by blue it and Sunday is written by red it most calendars. Each country is different from to start a day of the week in a week. Most Japanese style calendars is written from Sunday to Saturday in a week. On another side Chinese style calendar is written from Monday to Sunday in a week. Each month is different from date. Some months have 31 days, some months have 30 days. Especially February has 28 days, every 4 years it has 29 days. These day many people use digital calendar, for example smart phone. On another side many people use paper calendar too. I prefer paper calendar to digital calendar because I’m not good at operating machine and paper calendar is easy to write.

6ヶ月前の事前通知を six-months advance notice と、 5週間の予想を a five-week forecastと、 3ヶ月の予想を a three-month forecastsと、 2ヶ月の予想を a two-months forecastと、 書いてありました。

About three years ago, three neighbors in my building, each about 10 years my senior, invited me to join their rotating dinner party, held every two weeks. How Ina Garten, right?! Great food and sparkling conversation! Um, not so much. First off, none of the three are into cooking. One person in the group has served the exact same menu for three years. All are college educated, but cannot hold a conversation. One was unaware of the recent royal wedding -- so much for current events. rotating dinner partyとはどのような意味でしょうか?あと、so much for current eventsの意味も教えてください。

In addition, only half of the available artillery was committed at any one point in time with the intensity of the barrage expressly varied as to confuse the Germans and preserve some level of secrecy. Phase two lasted the entire week beginning 2 April 1917 and employed the entire artillery arsenal at the disposal of the Canadian Corps, massing the equivalent of one heavy gun for every 18 metres (20 yd) and one field gun for every 9.1 metres (10 yd). The German soldiers came to refer to the week before the attack as 'the week of suffering'. By the Germans' own account, their trenches and defensive works were almost completely demolished. Furthermore, German health and morale suffered from the stress of remaining at the ready for eleven straight days under extremely heavy artillery bombardment. Compounding German difficulties was the inability of ration parties to bring food supplies to the front lines. On 3 April, General von Falkenhausen ordered his reserve divisions to prepare to relieve frontline divisions over the course of a long drawn-out defensive battle, in a manner similar to the Battle of the Somme. However, the divisions were kept 24 kilometres (15 mi) from the battlefield to avoid being shelled.

(8) The village of Deir el-Medina has been called a company town. The only people who lived there were the 40 to 60 tomb builders and their families. For generations the skilled craftsmen worked on the king's tombs, cutting into the cliffs of the west bank of the Nile across the river from the ancient city of Thebes. These artisans needed to be within easy commute of the necropolis, or city of the dead, where they worked. The workmen walked to the Valley of the Kings by way of a mountain path. During the week, rather than walking all the way back to their village, the workmen stayed at a camp of stone huts they had built on a level spot along the pathway. The tiny one- or two-room huts were clustered, sharing common walls. The group of huts looked like a honeycomb. An Egyptian workweek ran ten days, so it was not unusual for the workers to stay on the job for eight days and then travel to their families in the village for the "weekend." (9) Building a village within walking distance of the Valley of Kings had its problems. The biggest surely had to be water. Water had to be carried from the floodplain up to the valley to the village. With about 68 homes at Deir el-Medina, that's a lot of water. The state supplied half a dozen water carriers. And, of course, they recorded the deliveries. For the average six-person household, each person would get about four gallons a day for drinking and bathing (not including laundry, which was done by laundrymen, whose service was also provided by the state). Toting the water must have been an annoyance, especially if the deliveries were delayed for any reason. But Deir el-Medina's misfortune turns out to be our good fortune.

The Stokes mortars of the 99th Trench Mortar Battery opened fire, one mortar firing "rapid" at a particular German post at zero and one minute later, the divisional artillery began the box-barrage, as the raiding party moved to within 50 yards (46 m) of the objective and lay down. When the Stokes mortars ceased fire, the party rushed the German position through three rows of barbed wire, each 2.5 feet (0.76 m) thick. The first wave moved towards the east side of the salient, then from there to the western face, as the second wave jumped over the trench and ran along the parados, until they saw Germans in the trench near the apex. Several Germans were shot and the rest taken prisoner. After twenty minutes searching dug-outs, the party withdrew with 51 prisoners (including two officers), having smashed a machine-gun and killed or wounded 14 German soldiers. One raider was killed and twelve wounded.
