1. The earth spun(地球、地上？は回った？）とはどういうことなのでしょうか？ 頭がくらくらした。目が回った。 ２。overhead with the thrust of his body runningのところがわかりません。 駆けてきた少年の体の突き(前進）で？頭上で？ 頭上では、少年の身体が、日よけにまで飛び上がる、そうすると（真ん中を突上げられた日よけの両端の）キャンバスの翼はバタンと（落ちて）閉じる。 結局水平に一文字にかかっている日よけが、中央を突上げられて「逆V」のようになり、鳥の翼のようにバタンと閉じた、と言うことでしょう。
