「７月５日からの週にアメリカへ行きます。」なら、 I'm going (to go) to the U.S. の後は、 on the week of July 5. でも in the week of July 5. でも問題はないのでは？ もっとも、アメリカにいる相手に対して言う場合は goがcomeに、アメリカ人が言うならthe Statesが、日本人が言うならthe United Statesが、より適切かと思いますが。 in the week なら一週間が「幅のある期間」という感じを、on the week なら一週間がより短い「特定の時」という感じを与えるのでは？
